How to deal with a CTD transformation in the work place.
(Picture was free to use but asked permission anyway)
Picture this your sitting in your
Office at your work place quietly typing out notes
or whatever your job is when you feel your feet getting itchy
You politely excuse yourself and head to the restrooms
When you get there you take off your shoes and socks and see a most frightening sight.
White curly hairs are sprouting from every crevice on your feet
And your nails are black and pointy.. Oh dear it seems you've got the dreaded CTD
Or canine transformation disorder
how will you deal with this? You can't work in the office as a dog nor can you tell anyone
You'll be fired for sure because CTD is highly contagious,
Here's some steps on how to deal with with this very strange condition.
First, you must actually check if you've caught it or your just imagining it and freaking out for nothing.
There's luckily a few other telltale symptoms
and signs that will prove if you've got it or not
First let's start with behavioural changes.
Have you been craving food that is
normally only for canine consumption
Like milk bones or kibble?.
Do you feel strange urges like wanting to chase or bark
when you see a cat or a squirrel?.
On an hot exhausting crappy day did you
tongue slip out unconsciously of a sudden?.
If you experienced any of these symptoms not long ago
Then yes you most likely have CTD sorry.. But wait
There's other signs as well such as physical alterations to the body and features.
We already know that growing fluffy white sheepdog
fur is probably the most common symptom of a upcoming transformation
But what about your tongue? Your nose and even your ears
Do they seem.. Canine too?.
Let's go in depth shall we.
The tongue is a muscle inside the mouth that has the job of
tasting and moisturising food so it can be eaten easily
If you look at your tongue or someone else's you'll notice it's appearance,
The human tongue is normally short fat, and deep red dark pink in colour.
Now onto the canine tongue,
We are quite familiar with how their long tongues look because of how often they use it for things
Such as grooming, eating, drinking and like humans, tasting as well
Unlike us humans they can't sweat like us
so to cool off they hang out their tongue
And pant to cool off and to show how they are feeling too
Panting or thermoregulation as it is called
Is used by lots of different animals, humans sometimes
pant too but not to the extant of dogs.
A dog's tongue is long just as I said before
And also bigger and flatter and a lighter shade of pink,
The shape could be described as a elongated U kind of shape or even a shovel or spoon
This is because they use their tongues to aid with drinking and eating.
Enough rambling on about facts
Let's cut back to CTD symptoms.
So if your normally short tongue is now long and floppy with a odd long crease going down it too then
you definitely have Canine transformation disorder there's
just no explanation.. Unless you've been on drugs and your merely hallucinating that is.
What are you going to do now? Your certainly turning into a sheepdog right there in the middle of the restrooms and your boss is likely wondering were you've gone off to!.
First things first try not to panic or freak out
Your increased heart rate and perspiration (sweating)
will only speed up your transformation and make things more unpleasant for yourself.
Calm down and try to deduce were you could've contracted the CTD,
A family member? A random stranger?.. A co worker?.
Once that's been figured out
Slow down the transformation anyway you can,
Take deep breaths, meditate, think of positive things
this will give you an extra few minutes while the transformation is going at a slow pace.
If you've got a phone on you
and your hands haven't become paws yet
Contact someone you know and trust and tell them about your predicament
Don't be surprised if they don't believe you at first,
CTD does after seem like something out of a film or book.
After you've alerted them of your transformation
Try to call up an expert on the condition like a doctor or scientist or even a close friend.
Now that you've done that it's time to either accept the transformation and face getting sacked
Or..let your boss or co workers know about it.. Whatever you do
Don't let them come too close to you
tell them to stay at least 14 meters away if you can.
If your lucky they'll be understanding and let you transform
knowing your not alone or without some comfort
If not.. Then your most likely fired
Oh well.. Maybe living part time as a dog will be fun and a great stress reliever even.
If you know a co worker who's already infected
Let them be by your side and if your a full or almost completely a dog
They might give you some pets and belly rubs
sounds nice right.
So what to do now?
You've stayed calm for a good five
minutes but regardless of that
Your still a dog.
Here's some advice for
when all the pains of a CTD transformation are over.
If your in the early stages of CTD
Your just a dog.. A dog indistinguishable from any other canine
You'll need someone to let you out of the restrooms.. Someone else with CTD
Once you've been let out of the building without spreading the CTD hopefully,
just go and do normal dog things until the transformation wears off there's nothing to it.
But.. if your in the later stages of the condition
You'll be basically a human with a dogs body
See if you can find an open window that's easy to climb out from.
Now.. talk about the history of canine transformation
disorder and some extra info on it.
CTD may seem like it only started
infecting people recently like a year ago or so
but that's far from the truth.. There was a documented report from 1926
Of a young woman in Britain
exhibiting spouts of canine behaviour and growing white fur in different places..
She was committed to an institution and when the staff found a dog in her place
She was thrown in the pound and sadly put down a month later because no one wanted her,
They thought she was a dangerous were creature or something.
No one truly knows were CTD
came from.
CTD effects men and woman in generally the same way
And there's been no reports of people under 16 years old contracting it
Meaning younger people must be somehow immune.
A lot of folks have come to accept having the virus
And many others enjoy playing with their family and friends as dogs
Because CTD is no longer contagious after the 10th
time a victim had changed.
Some have even gone up to CTDers and asked
to be infected deliberately.
CTD has already slowly but surely spread around the globe,
Leading to a sheepdog transformation outbreak of some sort.
If you've heard of CTD chances are
You know a person who already has it..
Try to avoid them until after the tenth transformation if you don't want it yourself.
Scientists have been working hard on a CTD cure
And so far they have created a highly effective medicine called CTD slower
Which slows down the transformation, it's good to take a swig of it
Before going out to a public place like a park or restaurant.
Specially designed CTD premium
dog food has also been created
For those with the condition to give them a healthy diet whether they are in
human or dog form.
And let's not forget the 100s of websites and YouTube channels
that are popping up all over the Internet
and helping CTDers
learn to like or love their sickness.
