Kitty: Alright, folks! Before we unmask our champion, the Red Panda, let's find out who the runner-up, the Pancakes, really is after all this time! I can't believe myself! He was THIS close to becoming our first male champion!
Pancakes: I know! I thought I had it in the bag myself! But, it IS what it is. I ain't so damaged.
Kitty: I know, Pancakes. But, let's see what the panel's first impression guesses were for you, shall we?
*The TUFF Troopers go down into the underground vault, and retrieve the first impression guesses for the Pancakes. They return to the stage with them, and Kitty begins to read each one.*
Kitty: Alright. Here are the first impression guesses for the Pancakes...
Terry's first impression guess: Sub-Zero from the "Mortal Kombat" series
Cadence's first impression guess: Glacius from the "Killer Instinct" series
Fred's first impression guess: Bad Mr. Frosty from the "Clayfighter" series
Isabelle's first impression guess: Johnny Cage from the "Mortal Kombat" series
Kitty: Okay. That about does it for the first impression guesses. Now, it's time to see who's right, as we...
Everyone: TAKE IT OFF! TAKE IT OFF! TAKE IT OFF! TAKE IT OFF!
Pancakes: (removing the top pancake from his stack, revealing himself to be Glacius from "Killer Instinct")
Kitty: I knew it! It's Glacius from Rare's fighting game series, Killer Instinct!
Cadence: A-ha! I knew it was him!
Glacius: And, you were right, Cadence! If you hadn't guessed me, I would've frozen you myself!
Cadence: Ah, but I didn't. ;)
Kitty: Glacius is one of the playable characters that made his debut in the first Killer Instinct game in 1995. He's an alien with ice powers who crash landed on Earth, and was kidnapped by the corrupted company Ultratech to participate in their Killer Instinct tournament. Afterwards, he then took some Ultratech technology back to his ship, and he used it to repair it, and return to his home planet.
Glacius: Yeah, they had me go up against all sorts of interesting characters such as the werewolf Sabrewulf, the mutant dinosaur Riptor, the ninja Jago, the Indian chief Thunder, the sexy Black Orchid, the robotic Fulgore, and the walking skeleton Spinal. But, the one fighter that always gave me the most trouble was Cinder, a criminal who gained the ability to control molten fire.
Terry: Wow! I know I said this about Johnny Maximum's fighting game roster, but yours is just as unique and interesting. ^^
Glacius: Thanks, Terry. Rare was known for being unique and creative with their games, until they moved on to design hats for avatars, and disappointing their fans.
Fred: Wow! That was a hot burn coming from an icy guy.
Glacius: (staring at Fred)
Kitty: He also returned for sequel on the Nintendo 64, where his goal was to search for missing members of his alien race. Depending on which ending you get, he either fails to do so, or he succeeds. After that, he hasn't been heard from that much until Rare decided to bring back the series from the Xbox One!
Glacius: Oh, yeah! It's great to know that I'm finally back, and better than ever. However, back when the game came out, if you were to tell me that I'd be singing in front of millions of people while dressed as a breakfast item, I'd probably impale you on an icicle. ;P
Everyone: (laughing)
Glacius: And, I would, too. My game was one of those fighting games that were deemed "too violent" by parents, where finishing moves were used to kill your opponents. However, unlike Mortal Kombat, Killer Instinct's not that known for the bloody finishers. We're more known for beating the ever-loving snot out of the opponent which results in an... say it with me, everyone. ;)
Everyone: ULTRAAAAAAAAAA COMBOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Kitty: Hehe. There's something SO satisfying about saying that. So, Glacius, what made you wanna come on this show?
Glacius: Everyone always labels me as being tough and merciless with no sense of humor, given the tone of my game series. So, given how silly and weird this show is, I figured it would be a good way to convey that. I hope I was able to do so perfectly.
Fred: Yeah, I think you did.
Isabelle: And, I had no idea you had such a wonderful singing voice, too. Definitely the opposite of what the games normally depict you as. :D
Glacius: Thanks. Although, right now, I'm afraid that when I go up against any of the other KI characters, especially Cinder, they might use that to taunt me, and let my guard down in battle. I guess it's a double-edged sword after all. ^^;
Cadence: Well, don't worry about. Just pull off any of your ultra combos, and I think you should be fine.
Terry: And, besides, if anybody gives you any lip, I'll use my combo attack on 'em!
Glacius: Provided if an SNK Vs. Rare game ever comes out, that'd be very much appreciated, Terry. ^^
Terry: Alright!
Kitty: Hmmmmm. That sounds like something my husband would come up with. But, anyway, we have one final contestant to unmask in this season, the Red Panda. And, since Cadence is the only one who got Glacius right, she gets a point. Now, she's starting to catch up in the race for the Golden Toon Ear Trophy. So, right now, let's hear it for the artist formerly known as the Pancakes, Glacius! (gives Glacius a microphone)
