The recolor was done by my friend Nygenn.
So when I was talking to Nygenn about Rose being color blind I showed him this picture and commented that for her, everything is mixes of greys, whites and blacks. He said that's not what the picture represented, and I didn't realize that the technology had progressed far enough to allow folks who couldn't see colors to see colors, granted I believe it's for certain spectrums and not like in Rose's case.
But either way he touched up the colors, inverting it so that all the colors are now more monochromatic while what's in her glasses are how we would see the world.
I love both pieces equally.

I actually thought about doing it this way at the time but i felt this one just felt more like "glasses help me see color" lol
I went with the other one as someone who has to wear glasses everyday i feel like I'm only seeing what i really see when I have them on (hense why hers was black and white, coz that's what she sees) where everyone on the outside will see the color. It probably would have made sense to blur the outside to put that across more but then you wouldn't see rose's pretty face :p
But i really like seeing the inverted version! It looks really nice too and it's cool to see the different interpretations :D

Nygenn is actually a pretty good photo editor and he can draw when he wants to. He's very methodical and patient, so this sort of stuff is right up his alley.
Your version is awesome and I agree. I wear glasses all day every day, I'm severely near-sighted, if I take off my glasses everything is a blur for me. So your thinking made sense to me.
