“Uggh, do I really have to meet her?” Lane huffs, the pinked colored zangoose walks down the pavement of a street.

“Well you did say yes, so of course you will!” Nix replied, the dark ninetails leading her white fuzzy friend, with the large mother’s hands on top of her belly.

“Can I still not show up and-”

“Nope, we are already here. You shouldn’t be nervous about it~” Nix giggled

“Me? Nervous? Of course not! I just don"t feel like meeting more people… yet.”

“And this is why I want to introduce you to her! Maybe to get you more socially open.”

“But why does it have to be with another mom?”

“Why not? Wouldn’t that make you comfortable?”

“That’s terrible. It would make me less comfortable!” Lane grumbled as Nix put her paw on her shoulder.

“Hey now it will be fine! Just promise me you will behave when we see her.” Nix wags her finger on her.

“Fine! I don’t know what she looks like tho, are you sure she is…” Lane couldn’t finish her sentence once her view shifted back to the front and saw a particular woman.

“I um, hi there! Nice to meet you!” the lucario woman said, blushing slightly.

“Uhhh, hi?” Lane stood there, staring at her. The woman in front of her was way taller than the Zangoose. Even taller than Nix and in more ways than one, sporting a bigger middle that caused Lane to be nervous.

“I was rehearsing a bit, uh, did I do well?” Nile then said, blushing even harder

“Yes, you did well Nile! Meet my good friend Lane.” Nix said while presenting her zangoose friend. “Lane meet Nile. She came here to visit for a while!” Nix explained.

“Visit?” Lane added to the conversation with a little question.

“Uh, I live in a town east of here. Nix was nice enough to show me around.” Nile said, still a bit shy.

“And since then she sometimes visits here when she gets the chance. Isn’t that nice!”

“Y-yeah…” Lane flustered a bit, and Nile noticed. This made the lucario blushed even harder.

“Lane? Why are you staring at her like that?” Nix squints for a brief moment.

“Huh? No I am not,” Lane quickly yelp “I am just thinking, I have never seen someone so big… you know... and you are huge Nix! What’s up with that?”

“Oh! Uhh, you see…” Nile knees bend inward trying to find her words “How should I put… this? I am not a regular woman. I am what you call a fertility… Goddess.

“Fertility Goddess? Whatever you say…” Lane kind of didn’t believe her.

“Lane!” Nix barks at her Zangoose friend “You told me you will behave!”

“I-it’s okay. I know not everyone believes it.” Nile sighed, and smile “At least she is honest about it. Nice to meet you Lane… oh I already said that, but…”

“I um, nice to meet you too Nile, regardless.” Lane looks downs a bit, not entirely sure what to after the fact. It’s the first time in a long while that she spoke with someone other than Nix, and its might get awkward if she doesn’t start something. But at the same time, she really don’t want shun her for trying to have a new friend, so the pink Zangoose attempt to be as polite as possible

“Okay I am really sorry, Nile. I really don’t know what else to add,” Lane finally said before adding,”but I really want to go back home. My husband is making some chocolate chip cookies, and ....”

Nix was starting to look rather disappointed in Lane and was about to tell her something before something unexpected happened.

“Did you say chocolate chip… cookies?” Niles" tail began to wag furiously behind her back.

“Y-yeah?” Lane responded unsure what’s going on. Although she got the feeling that she likes that particular sweet.

“I am sorry to ask, but can I come?” Nile asked, rather nervously.

“Sure! In fact, we were about to head there right now. I am sure Zane will have enough for the three of us.” Nix added.

“Wha-” Lane was flustered before she could finish her sentence. Nix seems to snuck her new friend into the conversation.

The Lucario woman bowed her head a bit in an attempt to bow “T-thank you! T-thank you, guys!”

Lane wasn’t brave enough to correct herself. However somewhere inside wanted to know her better, and she doesn’t know why. What’s gotten into her lately?
