Meet Umoja.
A One Eyed, One Eared and Scarred Lioness.

Today I rescued a plushie that only had one eye, one ear and a lot of damage and dirt.
I know, health and safety, but could I say no to this little lioness almost calling me for help?
So I reached in the big bin outside the Charity Shop and gave this broken gal a forever home.
I call her Umoja, Union, she's one with my pride of plush lions. Sure, she's damaged, torn and possibly abused and cut, but I couldn't refuse her.

I hope Umoja will prove that although some of us have scars, damage, pain and a bad past.
Remember :: 'Your story may not have a happy beginning, but that doesn't make you who you are. It is the rest of your story, who you choose to be.'
So I look upon her with hope that we can all be rescued.
Sorry, but I almost cried when I saw her in the rubbish, my heart just broke. :( So I wanted to give her some life as one of my characters.

Awwwww D: !! Makes me sad too! It's why I don't donate anything really loved on. I can't bare to think of the idea of them ending up in the dump (esp after Toy Story 3 ;-; !!).
