Work in progress design of Prince Leon from Brutal: Paws of Fury... I'm on vacation so I'm using this time to finally sit down and draw for myself when I'm up for it. And this is the first thing my burned out brain thought of. A tribute to a weird fighting game from the 90s that I had for my Genesis.
Going to move on to a different character next before I keep picking at this one and end up over-designing, then hating it, LOL! I'll come back to the Hendrix lion later...

Aw yeah I remember playing a ROM of this. This guy has that electric guitar move that you can spam.

I remember this game! I played the ROM and I was always the fox girl. Lovely redesign!
It's great there's people who remember this fighting game. Also your drawing is a massive improvement over the origanal.
I wanted to play that game so much when I was a kid because it had furry characters in it, and it seemed like fun. I honestly can't tell after playing it years later if I missed out or not.
Just look for playthroughs on YouTube. You didn't miss much, LOL! BUT as a teen in the 90s with nothing better to do and a limited Genesis library, I ended up playing the heck out of it and kind of enjoyed the characters' backstories :P
Yeah, that's the thing. When you combine the limited Genesis library, and the furry elements I wanted this game to be at lease playable.
