Quick doodle to celebrate The Lion Guard's finale which I watched a few weeks ago!! Personally Kion looks a bit too young for getting married, so I decided to give him some more mane here and there :D and from now on, I also think of the series finale as Kion and Rani getting officially bethroted or becoming fiancées, rather than getting married (again, they looks a bit too young for marriage, but that might just be me).

That's beyond adorable! I kinda miss TLG, but the series definitely ended on a great note.
Thank you! :) and I agree, the series had its flaws but for once I wish Disney had milked the series a bit more haha, I really miss how soon this show ended but it was fun while it lasted!
I'm glad I'm not the only adult who loved this show. I like how they didn't give *every* character a ship, or at least not an obvious one... (Ahem, Bashte). But I would also be lying if I said I didn't want Kion and Rani to be a thing.
Actually, I'd say that a big part of the fanbase are adults xD since those of us that grew up watching the original films were probably around 20s-30s when TLG was announced/aired haha. I wasn't expecting any of the characters to get a partner since the first two seasons didn't have any romantic subplots (or hinted towards one) whatsoever, but I was never super invested in the shipping side of the fandom, so I didn't mind that they went with Fuli/Azaad and Rani/Kion for the last season ^^
