I think it's because space beings tend to share a trend but i'm reminded of kamen rider metor. Mostly because of the blues.

Haha, the colors are common; I researched meteors and learned blue (and to a lesser extent purple and green) are the colors they emit when burning. So it seems they also reached the same conclusion!
