They scream, sometimes, in the deep of night. An unearthly sound echoing through the woods. Nothing unhealthy or dangerous about it, but unnerving... at least it used to be. Now I just know that it means baby foxes in a few months.

I am envious... the most I get are baby ducks... though something does enjoy eating the coconuts that fall - but oddly leave my little garden alone...

well - sometimes... I had a Pineapple I was just getting ready to pick, and went out to find it gone. I later found just the top a distance off in the yard.
I don't mind. I'm just happy the critter had a good meal.
