So after about half a year of hiatus, I finally worked up the volition to complete another song.
This one's another electronic song, and as it generally goes when I do electronic, it was inspired by Kraftwerk. Specifically, I was looking to songs such as Musique Non Stop and Elektro Kardiogramm, which utilise these kinds of Microsoft TTS voices.
For the subject matter, I chose something I've been enjoying doing as a hobby these past couple of years: 3d art. While I'm by no means an expert, I find the process satisfying and relaxing; at least when I'm not tearing my hair out over weight painting and retopology, lol.
Musically, the song's in C minor, with some modal mixture of C harmonic minor. I actually tend to do that a lot in my music, and it's something which I really need to try and break away from for fear of repeating myself.
That all said, I hope you enjoy it. :)

Thanks so much ^.^ It's good to be back. And that's a nice sounding chord progression! I hadn't really considered playing over the diminished two chord, but it's very tense and appealing.
Oh believe me I've tried. I know a few techniques for changing key, but I can never seem to implement them in a way that feels impactful or meaningful. But I am trying to delve more into modulations. Just a matter of time until I figure it out, lol. :D
Hey, welcome back! Also great track!
I've been looking back through old comments and have noticed I forgot to respond to your comments on my music quite a few times... I'm so sorry if it seemed like I was ignoring your comments, but believe me it was just general forgetfulness on my part.
Also I related to what you said about needing to break away from certain tricks we develop when writing music. I often feel like I need to add an extra something to avoid having my melodies all sound similar.

Thanks :D It's good to be back!
And yeah, it's so easy to fall into repetition when composing, especially when improvising from scratch on an instrument. Your hands tend to follow certain patterns, and your ears get pulled toward things that you think sound good -- and so often it's something you've already done before.
As for the comments, it's not a problem ^.^ I don't always expect a reply when I comment anyway, so it's all good. :D
