In fact, I consider the canonical ending to be a happy one. The world of little nightmares is mysterious, probably there could be no other end. I hope in the future we will learn all the details from the creators.

I guess at least he didn't DIE...it's sad when you have to be happy about that because of how cruel they are to the characters as it is LOL

Strangely, I couldn't be that mad at Six for the ending... she's an intelligent girl that's gone through so much, it's only natural to be afraid of potentional dangers when you recognize it. Still terribly sad, though. :c

and I agree! I'm sad there's so much hate towards her in the fandom because of what she did, but you can't expect a child like her to have the best morals given her circumstances. In fact I think it makes her more interesting as a character. I still think her and mono are 110% adorable

I also noticed how the fandom reacts differently on the scene at the school, after you freed Six from kidnapping, when she single-handedly kills a kid/bully. Everyone is like "Oh my God, Six, calm down, you're crazy, what the fuck!" YEAH, it's not like we just killed around 20 kids with a BIG HAMMER, and then also used a head we decapitated for disguise once. Also, we do not know what the bullies did to her when they took her.

My point is, both Mono and Six are traumatized survivors with issues, haha. And like you said, it's only more natural for kids to develop that way... you can't stay innocent in such a grim merciless world forever. I had full understanding for what Six did when that scene happened, to be honest.

And I'm not any better than her either... for example I didn't know you did NOT have to burn the doctor until I learned you get an achievement for not doing it. Same with the one bully in detention. I just paniced, and killed to save myself. And that's why I think Six works the same way. x)

that's a good way to look at it! Yeah I did all the killing I could on my first playthrough to be safe haha
but yeah, as adorable and wholesome mono is, he's done his fair share of killing and dark things too! I absolutely love watching other people's reactions to the part where she kills a bully lol

I just love both of them to bits and it makes me sad when people think she's evil, I don't think the devs intended on her to be that black and white, and I really don't like how it ended but I also can't expect any less from this studio. they love to break our hearts :']]]
