Hey look, a character I own that ISN"T an adopt.

As a protogen, Dial is geared towards more scientific topics, but also loves playing video games and fantasy settings. Despite his look, he’s just a big softie, even a timid at times. He also is rather introverted compared to the others, so its a wonder how he was able to get all of them together. He came across Lyra, Fae, and Rao individually while he travelled for research purposes. He first encountered Rao in a trip to try to identify why some species possess supernatural powers. While interviewing several different people, one came out of nowhere and surprised him. It was the loveable kitsune Rao. Dial was a bit startled and fell. Due to a loose connection, the fall caused his arm to fall off. Shocked by this, Rao started to apologize profusely. He brushed her off and re-attached the arm, apologizing for the scare. For the rest of the day Rao kept following him, a still feeling a little guilty after the incident. After a while, she managed to convince Dial to sit down and talk to her. At the end of it, Rao decided she would return with Dial, she wanted a change of pace and had the odd feeling Dial would lead her to it. Dial next found Fae doing some historical research. He contacted her to help with some details, given she had lived during the period he was researching. They agreed to meet up, although Rao crashed the meeting. Although at the end of the day, Fae really enjoyed their company. After many more meetings, Fae finally asked if they might want an extra roommate to help cut costs. Rao accepted right away, while Dial was a bit perplexed at the sudden offer, but agreed as well. He then came across Lyra while he was out in the wilderness to gather plant samples. He stumbled upon her camping site, a little worse for wear given how deep he was going with his level of experience. When Lyra heard him arrived and saw a scratched up protogen with a scrap body, she was very concerned. Dial tried to dismiss her worries, admitting that he had a scrap body on purpose because he thought it looked cool. He asked if he could share the campsite for the night, to which he got a cold "If you want to." Later that night, Dial heard the dragoness leave her tent. Out of curiosity, Dial also left to follow her. When he caught up, he saw her staring up at a clear night sky. It was an impressive display of stars that leaves such an impression it would never leave your mind. He looked back towards Lyra, and noticed how big of a smile she had. After startling her a bit due to his unexpected appearance, they sat down and talked. As it turned out, Lyra didn"t really have a place to call home, she just kept camping. She tried living with different people and communities, but nothing ever felt right so she would just move on. Without thinking, Dial asked if she wanted to try living with him, Rao, and Fae. After some explaining, Lyra was interested in such an odd band and decided she would try it out. To say Fae and Rao were surprised by the sudden addition would be an understatement. But after while of living with each other, they have all become very close.

He typically has to help with whatever the other three want at any given time, occasionally forgetting about them when he gets distracted by something that piques his interest. This will typically end in a dressing down by the others, and occasionally some "punishment".

Dial is 5"9", not including ears and horn.

I was interested in the Protogen species for a while, and I felt like I needed some character to "represent" my profile, so I had Dial made. Not entirely sure what I will do with him, and I am likely not going to get a bunch of art of him any time soon. Also, full disclosure, I asked for them to be heavily inspired by Primal Dialga of the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series, as seen in their color scheme and the Time Gear symbol, also from the same series.
