My adorable filly from the "Red Dead Online" - Irish Cob (Tinker) named Jali! I do not ride her often because I really prefer smaller breeds, but she is so spectacular and beautiful horse so I wanted to draw her! I had this sketch since Christmas, but finished this now 😅

Such a cutie. Did you know the cobs have a hidden courage boost? I ride the splashed Bay (he's called Uhtred)0pretty much everywhere and for everything.
I've heard of such a parameter as courage, but I'm pretty skeptical about it, because players often talk about it, but there is nothing like that in the game files XD
I used to believe in this and bought myself a Warhorse Andalusian with 10/10 health and he behaved terribly, threw me off in front of alligators, was scared of shots and always ran away... And only after a while I realized how to control your horse when meeting a predator or shooting, so that it leads more calmly.
Since then, all my horses have behaved the same :) and even "cowardly" Arabian :D

Arabians are the worst for being skittish. The fox trotters are okay. Just okay. In the end, all horses will drop you, the courage stat is based on their tolerance level. A higher tolerance, the longer it'll be before your horse yeets you into orbit.
I just wanted to say that all horses in the same conditions will behave the same, Im sure it does not depend on the breed. I really think that the courage parameter was invented by the players :D

I personally think it's a mix of how players handle them and what they're for. If I treat my turkoman the same as my mustang with an alligator, the mustang comes up better. But I get what you mean, I questioned it with it not being in the game files myself. ^^

I own the palomino blagdon, named her Zenyatta. I LOVE their design in the game. Even though the first two tiers of vanners are slow, they're still worth it.
I especially have a thick ol' moustache on my vanner. 😆

You also don't have to worry about the speed of your horse, because in fact the speed of the horses in the RDO is almost the same, and the difference will be very small. A horse with max speed travels the entire map in 14 minutes, and a horse with quite low speed do it in 14 mins and 20 seconds :D So don't worry and just enjoy!

Sure! I wanna get white arabian too, but my stables are full XD But I have black one, lol
Tbh the only reason I ended up with the white one in single player is because you could find it and I didn't pay for it. I think I still only have the original horse they gave you in RDO
