It's set characters but I plan to add many more if people enjoy the game.
not sure if randomly generated map is the best idea. it sounds good on paper but takes a long time to actually generate

Seems great, and I really liked the music. Got me really excited to try it out. I like the ambiguous character model, it works well here.
But I never got a game to start so I don't have tons of feedback. Might need a 1 vs 1 duel mode or something, this is going to be a fairly small niche.

Yeah, I may reduce the neccessary minimum join number tomorrow if it continues to be lobbies where ppl are just waiting.
I managed to get some games! Mostly with you, and they never actually had 5 players so I'm slightly suspicious.
Anyways, it's a lot of fun! Collecting herds is a neat mechanic that I didn't expect and the shooting is very solid.
I found the chicken gun to be very hard to do anything with, and the few times I did get someone it was with the sniper or bazooka. I'm terrible at video games but I was constantly forgetting to manually reload so I'd love an auto reload feature. I also felt like it was too easy to get back to being human when there are farmers on the map, and the passive gain seems high, I can't imagine a 50 player game ever actually ending.
It looks like the same animal models from The House, which isn't unexpected, but it's a shame because a pig shotgun would be fantastic.

Yeah I reduced the needed player count to 3 on the server side so people could at least get games. The UI client side remained at 5.

The idea is that the more TFs you get the more damage you do. (It's a plus 0.05 per TF multiplier, so having 20 tfs doubles the damage of none, not to mention the passives each animal gives) and that coupled with only dropping 1 soul when you transform and the souls only adding only 33% essence each would mean that eventually you'd be getting one shot and not having enough souls around to get back quick enough because others would be immediately picking them up. At least that's the idea. (Also if the game goes long enough there is rising TF gas that would eventually get those without high ground.)
It would be amazing to see a huge game with many players to see how that idea holds out.

It would be neat if defeated players would follow around their defeater the way the farmers do. Maybe with a marker to point out which one is you on the end game screen.
Also, jumping into the barrier wall and launching yourself across the map was a very cheeky move. I tried to use it back at you but you got me right away.

Waiting 15 min for people in the lobby but no one have joined. Would be nice to have game mode against bots.
Yup, it's just that the playerbase is super niche rn, but I'm working on ways to tackle that, building a community through Discord would be a cool idea and I'll look into dropping some ads on here and possibly other places. This will all likely come with the next update towards the end of this month.
I'm working on ways to get a community together so there is a player base to actually play with, lol ;)
Had a blast yesterday, even if yall stomped me. Bazooka is a bit too OP tho, maybe needs to launch people who get skyward. Thanks for letting us respawn. Really solves the death downtime issue the other BR games have. Can't wait until goat/ dog get added.

More animal gameplay beyond just collecting souls is something I'll need to experiment with, but thanks a lot for playing!

Is there a discord for the game ? (to set a game with other people)
-maybe add the possibility to change key (i'm french so i have an azerty keyboard, so i'm currently changing the keyboard language)
-maybe a chat for the lobby
i know it's a lot of work and i can't imagine how difficult it can be because i don't try progamming games in my life, so i don't want to put you much pressure ^^

Thanks, what you've said, chat in lobby definitely, is highly likely.
Input customisation is one I look to adding in the next update too, along with other options for audio.

Managed to catch several matches yesterday, will there be plans to have partial tfs?
