It always happen with a short memory lost. It would happen to me the same thing.
yeah... I too have had this happen. Had to write down a reminder on a post it note to remind me to write good ideas down immediately. actually multiple post it notes.

I can remember dumb or pointless things easily somehow and for long term, but something important or a neat idea? Nah, that is forgotten about within a few seconds unless it's written down fast and then it's likely forgotten about somehow.
