I just finished my Adopt/Ref Base :)
Terms of use:
- you may not remove the signature!
- do not claim the lineart as your own
- do not sell the lineart for money or coins (that‘s only for the lineart itself) it‘s free to use for anyone so feel free to share it with others. You may sell adopts or refs done with the base
What you may do with the base:
- create and sell adopts
- create and sell Refsheets (but tell the commissioners that the ref is created on a base)
- you may change/alter the lineart, add extras or remove parts

I love these because they make good reference. Don't take the line art, folks; take the ideas and use them to create your own.
So just trace the art that i made for anyone free to use instead of giving propper credit? that‘s not very nice :x
I don't think that's what they were meaning 😅 I think they meant instead of stealing someone's stuff they worked hard on, create your own with ideas, maybe from different poses and such
*They can create their own ideas ( had to correct my wording because it made it sound like I was talking about you when I was not, sorry)

Hiya, I’ve been part of the adopts process for years. Although, I never understood how to use the ref sheet. Like, how to put the parts together to make an actual complete base. And the link is just terms and use and all that. Any chance you can help me?
the issue might be the datas format, if your drawing program can not work with .psd files that contains layers, then you might have issues using the file

I do not work with that program so i don‘t know if it will work with that. You could use sketchbook from autodesk (it‘s free and might be able to open the file) or you could tell me what pieces of the ref you want to combine and i can send you the set togehter picture as a png file with no background

I've been trying to figure out how to use the file but i really can't figure it out. there are so many things i would love to do with this base that i can't right now. Do you know any way to get the files to work on a phone?

I've checked the dropbox link and all i could find was an image with the term of use. is it supposed to be like that?

hey, the reason for this is because it‘s a psd file, so you need a programm that can open and use psd files and work with layers. there are a lot different types of hair/bodies/eyes etc that would be to may single files if i would do each one seperately
