Okay, that’s certainly new. Now Lilmothitt and argonian and khajiit all must travel together. The shenanigans shall NEVER END!
It'll be like Team Rocket- only slightly less PG
Just slightly.
Just slightly.
Been around a bit but most dont know aboutem cause they arent in the main game. All the survivors went back home to Akavir which hasnt and pro wont be in an ES game for a loong loooong time.
only thing thats known is they were "Vulpine" in appearance, "Nomads", and came from Akavir and founded the Argonian capital "Lilmoth" thats basically it... that and they succame to the Knahaten Flu and had to leave the swamps and were in such a panic that they said F this and left Tamriel all together to "return home to Akavir". Honestly its just a plain mistake to think ALL of them came over to Tamriel it was more than likely a small percentage. Snake men used to rule the elf lands too... well naga like snake men... they also enslaved and turned people into elite troops called "The akaviri" believe it was...they were the original Blades...yes the original blades were slaves of snakes lol... this is why their weapons are called like "Akavir" bla bla bla etc dont expect Akavir content until like...probably the last ES game period because its basically the end all from the sounds of it in the background fluff.
Hush, either it has got to be a huge pile of Background Fluff - or these Naga like Snakemen and these Vulpine Nomads could be something hold back as a gimmick for a later portion if the elder scrolls.
Nomads and outcasts, Lilmothiit and Khajit sound like they have a bunch of potential for conflict or cooperation in between them!

Well Bethesda's super lazy and doesnt wanna add more playable races... theres Ape men too that worship high elves... white tiger type Khajit, worm people that are obsessed with Necromancy, normal monkey people, tons of crap... more Dragons over in Akavir too. Akavir is actually at war with the Empire through most of these games which is why they are so crippled. Not much is said though save for something about Navy shenanigans and trying to keep Akavir on the other side of the sea. So yes, its being kept for something MUCH later in ES and will probably be the last content they ever make so I doubt we'll see it in our lifetime lol XD but Akavir is the most interesting sounding place in Elderscrolls in general mainly because its shrouded in a cloud of unknown.
Ahh, yes.
The fabled potency of what is left unknown.
Cursed and fascinating at the very same time. :/

The Lilmothiit are kin of the Khajiit. Also, they did not return to Akavir because they are not from Akavir. The Akaviri just used their ruins.
The Akaviri are - or were - a race of men native to the continent of Akavir. They were enslaved, and eventually "eaten" (possibly literally) by the snake-like Tsaesci, also natives of Akavir. The Akaviri are now thought extinct in Akavir, but a force of them traveled to Tamriel with their Tsaesci masters when they invaded Tamriel. When the invaders were fought off, the surviving Akaviri in Tamriel were granted amnesty, and some of them pledged themselves to the Dragonborn Emperor Reman I, becoming the ancestors of the Blades.
Akavir was the original home of the dragons, but the Tsaesci attempted to "consume" them after the Akaviri. The Red Dragons were enslaved and the Black Dragons fled, some of them seeking sanctuary with the Po'Tun, a race of tiger people native to Akavir but likely related to the Khajiit. The ensuing war wiped out all the Dragons of Akavir, with all survivors fleeing to Tamriel. The Po'Tun and Tsaesci were both greatly weakened by the war and became archenemies. The Po'Tun also became obsessed with dragons, and after their leader, Tash Raka, managed to transform into the largest dragon in all of Nirn, they renamed themselves to the Ka Po'Tun (literally "Tiger-Dragon Empire"). They are, as a race, attempting to transform into dragons and destroy the Tsaesci.
As a side note, the Akaviri apparently had some cultural reverence for the Red Dragons, as they are the source of the Red Dragon emblem of the Septim Empire.
Akavir is also home to the monkey-like Tang-Mo, currently allied to the Ka Po'Tun and holding a bitter hatred for the Tsaesci, the "Snow Demons" known as the Kamal, who once invaded Tamriel and thaw out yearly to attack the Tang-Mo, and some goblins, also enslaved by the Tsaesci. There are also stories of rat-folk and dog-folk existing as pirates in the Padomaic Ocean between Tamriel and Akavir. Oddly, no known Mer ever lived in Akavir, being one of only two (or three, depending on definition) such continents.
The Lilmothiit originally lived in the Black Marsh but were driven out either by the Argonians or by the Knahaten Flu that wiped out most mammal life in Argonia, and are currently missing, believed extinct. But it's entirely possible that their are survivors, either hidden in some deep part of the Black Marsh, sheltered by their Khajiit kin, escaped to the distant islands of the Padomaic Ocean, or simply keeping a very low profile.
Other Beastfolk include the Ape-like Imga of Valenwood who idolize the Altmer of the Summerset Isles, the crab-like semi-aquatic Dreughs, who devolved from a far more intelligent and civilized form after being nearly wiped out in a war with the Dunmer, the Minotaurs, who are in reality descendants of Men, the Giants, who are kin of Men, the semi-aquatic serpentine Lamias, who are exclusively female, the Hist trees, who are the gods, creators, rulers, and ancestors of the Argonians, and also are literally trees, and the loathsome slug-men known as the Sload, masters of necromancy native to the sunken "continent"/archipelago/coral reef of Thras, who created airships, repeatedly invade Tamriel after being thought extinct, and are the most evil beings in all of Nirn, plus their more aquatic kin the Sea Sload.

This is amazing! Would I be able to get links to your sources? I'd love to read what else they have there :3
Just the Elder Scrolls Wiki and a bit of my own memory of earlier visits to said wiki and to the Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages (which is another Elder Scrolls wiki). The UESP probably has more information, and I left a lot of what I know out. I should add that I included a bit of interpretation, as the exact nature of the Tsaesci, the Akaviri, and the relationship between the two is extremely murky.
Ah, Well I'm Happy that you shared so much :3 It's fascinating to hear the lore of things we may never see or have known otherwise :3
Check out the YouTube channel "FudgeMuppet" they go over all sorts of obscure Elder Scrolls lore. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLp4gsSi3Io
It's been a while since I've seen their stuff, But I'll give them a look-see again at some point, I do recall enjoying their stuff :3
actually yes, yes they ARE from Akavir in one of the books in game they state "The surviving Lilmothit fled back to Akavir..." implying that they are indeed from there. But ya the rest of what you said is right. Read it some years back, and it was again stated during a developer blog for ESO following a statement that they have no plans of introducing ANY new races to the game. But elderscrolls lore is easy to miss, they honestly need to write ACTUAL lore books for the universe and not just throw it everywhere for people to find, its messy.
That's odd. They're very clearly kin of the Khajiit, who are (probably) native to Tamriel. None of the wiki's mention them being from Akavir, but that doesn't necessarily mean much.
yea trust me bro, that doesnt mean they arent related to Khajiit either. In fact I wouldnt be shocked if most animal people were somehow related to them. We don't really have EVERY piece of information to the history of the world and most stories are from Tamriels point of view >> ... most of the historical crap on the Akavir was destroyed in Tamriel im sure so you cant expect in game lore to not have been lost to the masses. I mean shoot IRL people go to places by boat since pffft forever... nothings stopping the races in Elderscrolls from doing the same thing also the only thing it really takes to be "related to Khajit" is basically to be born/blessed by the moon/sun TLDR it doesnt mean you necessarily have to be birthed into existence in the same continent probably...I mean none of this is fully clarified so we gotta be patient until we get more information. But seriously they need to print actual stories/books IRL lmao... should also mention plenty of stories/lore isn't on the wiki's and in fact have been dropped in Dev blogs throughout the years and most of it isnt even recorded as its easily missed / seen by people who dont care to re post it yatta yatta yatta mix of things. BUT I should say you could be right maybe Lilmothit arent from Akavir but the information had meant they simply fled there despite the wording (which could very well have just been poorly worded its Bethesda) lol time will tell but they for sure fled to Akavir and are very much alive (albeit most of Tamriel thinks they are extinct mainly because they have no idea if they actually got out or not from their perspectives) which is why I did mention the dev blogs, as most stories/info is told from their point of view but often times later rooted out to be more complicated/false by other stories in later games OR hidden in the same game = _ = ... honestly people shouldnt get too excited as Bethesda has made clear time and time again they are not going to add more races to the game = /
shoot lastly lets not forget there are cat people IN Akavir...who's to say they aren't also related to the Khajit? Maybe in the end all the stuff we know will all spiral and end up having originated in Akavir not Tamriel O o ...theres some partial evidence that actually hints at this but nothing conrete.
Actually, interesting fact: Dragons are from Akavir. Dragons sheltered from the Tsaesci with the Po'Tun.
The Po'Tun/Ka Po'Tun are from Akavir. The Ka Po'Tun can become dragons. The Ka Po'Tun are catfolk.
The Khajiit interpretation of Auri-El/Akatosh, the Dragon-God of Time, Alkosh, is a giant cat, and is even called the First Cat.
The Lilmothiit are kin of the Khajiit. The Lilmothiit are either from Akavir or fled to Akavir.
There are some implications here.
Also, I strongly suspect that the Khajiit, Lilmothiit, and the (Ka) Po'Tun are all very closely related, and that the mysterious piratical dogfolk and ratfolk are probably also in that group (with the dogfolk in particular likely being very near kin of the Lilmothiit).

Ya I think your right and also yep Dragons are from Akavir, the ones at the end of Skyrim if you keep pathunax or whatever alive all fly in the direction of Akavir too... I was curious and looked at the map...some youtubers brought it up as well. Lots of cool things lead into Akavir...and we can never step foot there = / also ya allot of races see the gods in different ways. Also its safe to assume yes most of the mammal like animal creatures are probably all relative to the Khajit in some manner...or the Khajit are related to THEM lol we actually do NOT know what came first. And ya the whole cats in Akavir...dragon thing...and relatives to Khajit has been brought up which is why some believe the Khajit came from Akavir as did the Lilmothit and that the Lilmothit being nomadic at heart probably never intended to stay forever anyway. Its also safe to assume most of their tribes just wandered all over the place, its mentioned the ones in Tamriel did OFTEN...no idea why they even bothered with a city but eh whatever lol.
Oh god, even Skyrim isn’t safe from the sex-crazed fox anthro stereotype.
the real question is will they actually make them a race in any of the future games?
Depends on who you ask. For the Innkeeper it's a good ending because she's gone from this place, and it's bad ending for our victim because he immediately got brainwashed.
I'd say the opposite. Orgnar's now a mindless, but happy fox lady with big bahonkadonks- might not the best ending, but still. And Delphine, on the other hand, is traumatized and has lost all hope in human/mer/argonian/khajiitanity
Bet even Anduin would look at this and be like, "Fuck this shit, I'm out."
But now, when we needed alduin the most, he vanished. Thus the corruption spread across nirn, corrupting continent after continent, species after species. Even the legendary dragons weren’t immune to the corruption...of the YIFF
Honestly, I have to agree with Delphine.
But then again... does Skyrim need saving?

Being turned into a fox is the UwUltimate humiliation. The fate worse than death.
It's only humiliation if you have any self-awareness.
I'm hearing fox-Orgnar's lines in Bubsy's voice, and I feel a great and terrible pain
Since im a terrible fox furry, i actually read into all information that there is about the Lilmothiit. Somethign caused them to retreat further into the swamp lands where no humans are said to have reached and all that is known is that some rather hostile-to-human argonians dominate the area. I guess they wrote it in a way to leave it open as to wether they are extinct or not. If they still exist however, they must have some rather limited numbers.
So some day we might have sudden reveal "They are still exitent and now you interract or even play as them!" Or they will just stay in obscurity, maybe have some ruins that you can find where you find skeletal remains of them. If some game ever let's you travel to that part anyways.

Ahaaaa, so the lizards are keeping the foxes all to themselves! Tricky.
me - Sheogorath needs to be stopped! He's becoming too powerful!
also me - No no... just wait a moment. Let's see where this goes.
So this curse is a transmographic mematic curse affecting people with their strongest stereotypes, and passed along by proximity and hormones. .... Comic Con's would be amazing with this.

You're clearly an aspect of Sheogarath yourself, Val, just an incredibly specific, kinky and specialised aspect!
I like to think that we've all got a little bit of that in us >: D
Deep down inside, we all have the power to transform unsuspecting researchers into dunderheaded swamp-fox bimbos. *Nods sagely*
The worst thing is that some furries actually talk like that irl.
None shall escape teh YIFF!!!
It is for this reason that even WoW added the Vulpera to their lineup of playable characters. 🤣

Lol hey for the record they NEARLY went extinct the survivors fled to Akavir and prob repopped in a day...you know like foxes do.
Probably! I do get the feeling that the fandom in general has matured a lot and develop thicker skin since the early days, though, ya know?
If Valsalia wants to end the Lusty Argonian Maid'd series, this would be fitting.
That is my curse; so many ways to potentially end it, but I can choose only one!!
5 pages of people praising "the dragonborn" and it turns out to be a skeever wearing 6 amulets of Talos. Last panel is Sheogorath flipping the audience the bird.
:3
(yes you can be a skeever in-game, from an old dev command or mod or something)

Well, if this world can't be saved, then the last option is to have a "party" there. To do this, use the cannon to throw the cylinders with mutagen gas into different areas of the locations. That's when the world will be a total bummer. This is a really evil plan. It's sad that I didn't invent it (I'm just number 2). This is the work of Maximilian.
are the TES foxes actually sluts or is this just interpolation with generic furry stereotypes
Probably "yes"

You know I got a silly idea for a future comic: Hircine dealing with furries. :P
Oh, come on! What kind of s'wit uses the phrase "bored god" on the same page as "Sheogorath"?
...
Oh, n'chow, this is a kwama pile.

WELL ACKSHUALLY ACCORDING TO THE LORE CANNONS HAVEN'T BEEN INVENTED YET
Give it time, Val... give it time... and then the Dragon Borne will hoist a stout bronze tube over his mighty Nord shoulder and with a mighty roar of Fus Rodah, he shall down the infernal dragon with a twenty pound ball of iron, filled with black ‘splody powder!
As to where the Dragon Borne got the mighty bronze tube filled with black ‘splody powder?
We can blame sheo again!...

If the Lilmothiit were really a horny god's creation they wouldn't have gone extinct. They would be more common than Nords.
"Okay, Skyrim cannot be saved."
Not having actually played it, that's the impression I got from reading this series.

Skyrim was always fucked.
but seriously, pity there was never an actual appearance of the Lilmothiit.

Fur Affinity is loaded with Foxy-types. Must be where they all went to hang out after the 'extinction event'...
Please do not mention "The Event".

After dealing with Shegorath I don't know HOW many times, in ESO? I worry for the nords
Well, he wasn't entirely wrong, if you consider that to the characters in a story the writer is God.
Wha, we fox girls do NOT talk like that,
Hmmph.
I’m crossing ma arms right now
Hmmph.
I’m crossing ma arms right now
Technically it's Sheogorath's work making them look and act like that, and they twist everything. The real swamp foxes would probably look on this monstrosity the same way the normal un-cursed folks have been looking at their cursed joke versions. XD
I am aware, but being annoyed about the stereotype is funnier to me
This is why sharks are best... No sharks in Elder Scrolls to get stereotyped via crazy curses!
Wait... Shalug the Shark!? Damn you Elder Scrolls online! DAMN YOU TO HELL!

Barenziah also had kinky Khajiit sex once. They canonically have barbs on their cock.
It's censored in later games, sadly.

Ed Greenwood, what are you doing writing for Elder Scrolls? Go back to making Forgotten Realms and screwing with Wizards you crazy old SOB!
Welp, that's a new one for the e-hentai gallery.
I hope we get these foxes in Skyrim as playable characters
....that's just Yiffy Age of Skyrim with SexLab Framework and some nude armor mods installed.
You have a very strange sense of humour. Your work is certainly never boring! Thank you for that, it brightens my whole day!
I'd leave too if someone's inner thoughts unironically used the words "yiffin' pawsome".
Well hey, you've just introduced me to the best race in all of Tamriel, excellent work Val the Corrupter!
I'm sure there is a mod for that. If I can get Macho Man dragons I can at least get foxgirls.
Huh, so the fox-folk and the lizard-kin were relegated to the swamps?
