Pokemorphs. Humans capable of assuming half-Pokemon form, or Pokemon able to transform into half-humans. Be it through mad science, interbreeding or other phenomena, both varieties of hybrid have a history of showing up across the various different regions of the world. And the harsh region of Orre is no exception.

First reported as a graffiti artist in the slums of Pyrite Town, the Pokemorph identified by several accounts as going by the rather simple name "Keith" has made a name for himself as the lead guitarist of a travelling band of Pokemorphs who move from region to region. Capable of using his body's natural toxins to inebriate and influence others, he holds a hypnotic sway over his fellow bandmates... many of which are rumoured to have originally been human. Converted by the Toxtricity through some unknown method into being hybrids of various different Pokemon species, seemingly determined by his own fluctuating whims.

Despite their outlandish attitudes and often very aggressive mannerisms, reports seem to indicate that wherever the Toxtricity's band travels, criminal team activity in the region has dropped significantly. With at least one graffiti-sprayed and heavily vandalized Team Rocket building having been discovered in a state of absolute disarray, with all the members of the criminal organization unaccounted for... and several amnesiac Pokemorphs wandering into town several days later, beginning new lives with seemingly no memory of who they were before or how they'd arrived there.

While these implications of vigilante activity hint at the presence of a moral code of some sort, Keith is still considered a wanted individual by law enforcement on suspected charges of kidnapping, vandalism, brainwashing, arson, theft, noise disturbance and the illegal production and distribution of narcotics. At the same time, sales of his band's albums have never been higher in spite of (or perhaps because of) their status as contraband in all League-recognized regions.

A new side-character split from my main trio, Keith is my shot at trying a Pokesona! AND OH MY GODS,  HolySeven surprised me and  Sabinmoon with these sketches of Keith (and Sabin's character, Howlett) as a gift, and they are GORGEOUS!!!
