honestly feel for Miles and Boomer over here, not only did she lie to everyone about being with someone, shes basically trying to one up her Ex simply because of his own decisons. i know what started as boomers revenge plot turned into more and frankly she deserves to be alone, and i hope these two reconcile

Any furson with a brain would understand what's going on here once it's explained. Unless this is a universe where every single rom/com ever written does not exist. If that's the case, Boomer is now somehow the bad guy and has some splainin to do, because that's the way these things work.

Boomer tried* to get naked pictures of some guy without his consent to A) show them to his friend and B) forcibly out him to (the person he believed to be) his girlfriend.
With his only justification being "the guy was cheating on her anyway so he deserves it", which is, again, just an assumption.
He had second thoughts, and really regrets it now, but he behaved like an asshole.

Let me try to plead my case here, boomer is under the impression that this dude's nailing his ex. This is the same dude who sent nude pictures at the drop of a hat while talking to the wrong person. Until miles said he didn't like people wanting to see him naked I was under the impression that he was into everyone seeing him naked, why else would a hello message include naked pictures? Boomer wouldn't have known this until after he was told, and at that point he was realizing what was really going on. Sure he could have come clean right then, but these are delicate matters that only a Karen can mess all up. His perverted friend can be safely ignored, sorry bruh you saw what you're going to get to see the first time he flashed his flesh. Yes boomer has a part to play in this, but as a misguided antagonist not as the villain.

Well that's certainly one possible interpretation, and I can respect that. Personally, I don't think Boomer's a villain, he's certainly remorseful and we can tell from our PoV. However, Miles doesn't have all the information we do, from his perspective he just realized of the betrayal and breach of trust from these two; particularly, what Boomer did is much more hurtful because Miles opened up a part of him that he doesn't share much at all.
And you know, as remorseful as Boomer is, the motivation for his actions was still pretty bad. Perhaps it's a saving grace that he didn't actually do it. I can only hope they can fix this.

Agreed - Perhaps it's naive of me but seeing an ex with another guy doesn't exactly add up to that conclusion, especially since he was presumed straight before..
Then again I know people like that tend to think others around them can be equally as vindictive as I can-- er. As they themselves can be.

Thanks for real. Imagine starting a relationship with someone that was in reality tryin' to hurt you, while pretending to be someone he isn't. Boomer dated Miles for revenge on his ex, and he wasn't even bisex at first, he just let flow goin'.
The fact he then regretted that and found Miles is a good person and deserves more than being treated like a piece of meat for the purpose of revenge still doesn't make Boomer a saint.

The talk with Karen just solved in 5 minutes something that Boomer could have taken months to reveal.

Imagine you start a relationship with someone that doesn't tell you all this backstory before. At least he now has a chance to fix things while their relationship isn't even begun. Would have been worse if he had to solve it after starting to date him romantically, don't you think?

Look at it from Miles' perspective. The man you were fucking around with seems to be interested in you, and you feel the same. Sure he's a late 40's divorcee but that doesn't bother you. You fell for him hard and fast, you grab a bite to eat at the local diner and when it seems like you may be officially dating, his bitch of an EX wife confronts him about stealing her "boyfriend" from her.

You didn't know the creepy woman that was hitting on you at your job lied that you were her BF, but is also your date's Ex. She calls out her ex about sleeping around with you so he can get back at her. This all hits you like a bombshell, you a variety of emotions shocked, angry, hurt, embarrassed, and disgusted. Not only at them but at yourself too. Your emotions and ego absolutely destroyed by this. I wouldn't be surprised if miles doesn't contact this dude again.

Boomer's feelings towards miles did become genuine over time. But miles doesn't know that, what he now knows is that his guy used him for his own personal vendetta to get back at his ex. It's gonna take some time to heal from that kind of hurt.

Yep, this all blew up in boomer's face in the worst way possible. He used an innocent party to win some petty squabble with his ex. His ex manage to turn it around on him cause her crime is far less fucked up than what he did, he succeeded in getting in his pants and making miles fall for him(The first part was intentional, the second was not). Karen was right, he is a petty asshat and boomer was caught up cloud 9 to realize his actions will come to bit him in the face eventually. He lost someone who genuinely cared for him and it's all his fault. Personally there would be no coming back from such a betrayal especially when the betrayed is innocent. But im curious to see how it goes.

Fuckin' rough... seems every comic I'm reading here is going dark. A few others were saying that. Writers are just punishing the hell out of us... but it's also some of the best material that's come out in a long time. No sugar, all meta, no breaks straight into reality.

It's funny how I read comments about Karen being the only "bad person" in this scenario, while Boomer too was a real jackass.

I want to remember you that Boomer started this as a straight man that wanted to take revenge over his ex by humping and eventually taking photos of her new crush that was in reality into men.
The fact he enjoyed to clap a man cheeks as he enjoyed to clap his ex-wife when they were younger doesn't make him a good person. Of course he's sexually involved and he also is starting to have feelings for Miles and that makes him somehow someone you feel to "support", but as a matter of fact he's not different from Karen.

I hope they both will have a chance to prove they are instead good people that just took poor decisions, since the comic is well-written and honestly making Karen the only "devil" in this situation means not having read how things went with attention ^^'


Said that, the artist is doin' a wonderful job, I'm really enjoyin' this reading, especially the little gags here and there
