I wanted to write a short little story blurb for this, but it devolved into this. I'm sorry, hope you like it.

You don't know where you are, how you got there or why. you only know the coldness, the darkness and the loneliness that emanated through these ancient halls. The only thing that interrupted the silence was the tapping of your talons on the cold, stone floor as you aimlessly wonder. The sound echoes throughout the unknown ruins. The ruins, a series of endless series of corridors with the occasional split. Every hall, looks the same. As you wonder, you start to think about how these might be your final moments. In an attempt to distract yourself form the thought, you start to loudly complain about how cold you are. For better or for worse, no one is there to listen.
After what seemed like hours of blindly wondering through the endless, twisting, labyrinthian halls. You find yourself a in room. In the center, there was a huge robot sitting in the center of the room. It looked rather intact, still, it had probably seen better days. Is it turned off, or is it sleeping? Carefully, you slowly approach the hulking contraption. You don’t even breath in its presence. you reached to the back of the robot. there is a hole on the back, with a switch inside it.
A quick sigh of relief latter, you start to think about turning it on. It has to knows its way around here and you won’t be lonely. But you don’t know what it does or if it still functional. You flip the switch upwards, thinking “Eh, it’s better than doing nothing”. The machine started to rumble. You quickly dashed away and hide, as its rusty parts creak as they reactivate. The robot got back on to its feet and let out a digital roar. You felt its roar pierce right through you. Escape is not an option.
But curiously enough, it stood idlily by. Occasionally turning its head, to check its surrounding. You wait for it to do something else. It didn’t, maybe escape might be an option. All you have to do is be really quiet. The verry first step you took made a loud tap that immediately catches the huge machine’s attention. It turns its head to face you, and shines a bright light on to you. You freeze in place, slowly turn to face the robot. the sudden and hard light makes you squint. You’re shaking now, maybe it’s from the cold, maybe it’s from the fear.
The light turns off just as fast as it turned on. A digitally distorted, yet gentle voice comes from the machine. It seems like the robot is trying to calm you down. Suspicious, you start to lower your guard. you try to ask it where we are, but it doesn’t you and continues to speak in its calming voice. Eventually, the robot unfolded its arm and reached out towards you. The arm had a purple wheel attached to its end. You don’t what it was saying exactly, it sounded inquisitive, but encouraging. You think that it wants you to grab its wheel.
You hesitate first, but you reluctantly grab the wheel. The Robot giggled as it stated to pull you towards it. You try to let go of its wheel, but you unable to let go. You start to panic as the Robot picks you up. the Robot stats to shush and cradle you in its arm. You yelp as you are place on to the frigid metal of its arm. The robot giggled and then spoke apologetically. The Robot carries you off. The Robot gracefully navigates through the tangle of halls. To what destination dose this machine have in mind for you?
You have no idea, but the trip itself is a thrilling ride to say the least. You start to calm down about the robot. “Maybe this machine will help me out of this mess” you thought. Eventually the Robot announced and, slowed to a stop inside a room just like any other. Before you start to wonder why this room, the Robot unfolded another of its arms and press on to accouple of the engravings etched into the walls.
The engravings glowed as a rack filled with elaborately decorated red and purple capes slides out from the wall, and a fully stocked changing table rose from the floor. The diapers in the table are also red and purple. As you watched this amazing feat of technology, you realize what is about to happen to you. It’s pretty clear. You are lifted from the Robot’s cradle and gently place onto the changing table. Lying on your back, you look at the robot.
The caring machine’s other arms unfold, reaching out for supplies. One of them lifts your legs up and places a diaper under you. With a sudden flurry of arms in calculated coordination, the robot swiftly cleans, powders and diapers you. It happened so quick; you didn’t notice. the robot pulling your tail feathers through the hole in the back hole. After some final adjustments to your new garments, the motherly machine’s attention shifted to the rack of capes. This gave you time to check out your diaper.
It was deftly a diaper, yes, and you are waring it. But it makes sense. After all, you are a baby or at least you think you are one. You’re the right size to be one. Anyways… the diaper is rather poofy and comfy to wear, like a small pillow on your butt. The diaper is in the style of a cloth diaper. You can tell that it’s not cloth. Maybe its silk, or something alien. But what really caught your eye is the tiny gold emblems where the pins are supposed to be. The robot finally picked out a cape out of the plethora of capes hanging from the rack.
The robot then stands you up, pulls out the cape. The cape is a well-crafted thing. it is a light purple, lined with a darker purple, with decoctive red triangular flaps, placed on the neck and bottom. It also includes two emblems, similar to the emblems on your diaper. The robot wraps the cape around you and snap the two emblems together. Keeping the cape firmly in place.
The robot lift’s its arms off of you. The cape is notably heavy, but it’s nothing restraining. It’s definitely the same material as your diaper an-. Before you are able to finish that thought, it hits you, the warmth. The contrast of the frigid air of the ruins. It washes over you as you melt into the cape’s pure coziness and comfort. You feel your eyes grow heavy, and a smile slowly sneak onto your face. You thank the robot; it replies with a coo.
You almost fall onto you back, only to be caught in the arms of that lovely robot. it is then you start to notice how tired you are. The robot begins to cradle you again. But now, you deeply embrace it. The robot slowly sways you back and forth, being extra carful to not drop you. You gently yawn, the robot. You feel a light pressure on top of your head. You look upwards to find the robot gently petting you. Your heart-beat and breathing slows. Then the robot starts to sing. Its voice is soft, soothing and beautiful, despite how strange the words themselves sounded. It has to be some kind of ancient lullaby. Because it’s working, you feel even more sleepy.
As you slowly drift away into slumber, you look back onto how this day started. The coldness, the darkness and the loneness. Oh, how it that all changed. The coldness is faded into the cape and diaper. With the kind robot on your side, you don’t feel as lonely as before. And the darkness? You’ll soon be asleep. And before you know it, the sun will rise again and it will be a new day.
