''Abandoned Amusement Park'' by LaytheDiaperedWhiteWolf
Another one I drew at the social club I went to today (By now, I figured out its name is actually Papageno). I was thinking of what to create for a long time, but eventually I decided on a ''haunted abandoned theme park'' motif, since I really like abandoned amusement parks! It comes complete with old ticket booths; a rusty coaster, which has partially collapsed into the swamp below and is covered in filthy weeds; a Ferris Wheel which is also covered in vegetation; a gate made out of wood with the ironic word ''JOY!'' written on it; and an abandoned tourist train that's just... standing there, only two feet away from a dilapidated sign that reads ''SKY DROP'' and presumably belongs to the old ride. Adding to the creepiness is the heavy downpour rain, and clouds with flashing lightning bolts that are sure to charge up the electricity cables of the broken roller coaster on impact. Finally, there's the frozen merry-go-round, hidden behind one of the patches of grass, especially when seen from the angle this picture was drawn. From this eerie attraction, with its iron horses impaled with metal poles that attach them to the merry-go-round roof, people claim to have heard children's laughter while they were visiting this funfair hellscape -- even though they couldn't see any kids running around... And who, or what, is that mysterious, dog-shaped figure that roams around one of the coasters, supposed to be?
-- I looked at this piece again and I must say, the water reflection effect I added turned out EXTREMELY well! I made it so it is perfectly visible, down to the detail of the water ACTUALLY mirroring the order and direction of the old planks that are holding the pillars of the coaster track upright; and the reflection of the lightning clearly clashing with the two poles of the ''JOY!'' sign next to the broken Ferris Wheel! It helps to make this apocalyptic world look more believable and immerse you in it, making you wonder what happened to this once cheerful place.

Ha Ha! I absolutely want to visit such a place in real life! I've always been fascinated by abandoned amusement parks, and I still am! You probably already know about my Jazz Land upload, do you? That park was flooded by hurricane Catrina in 2005!

I know someone here at FA that is an urban explorer. He likes to explore abandoned buildings. I have seen some of his pictures he has posted in the past. Like a hospital, old boweling alley 🎳. He would set up office in some of those old abandoned buildings.😊
