The first project idea I attempted was in writing, with Jiul here as the protagonist of a series I named Hadezelios. But a lot of things kept getting in the way.

Being a novel/writing project meant very little drawing for the final product. And as I consumed more and more shitty fantasy and isekai anime, and becoming more aware of the entire light novel industry in these genres, made me disillusioned with the story AND the design for the main character. No matter how many redrafts and revisions I tried, I couldn't be excited for the idea, but I also didn't want to change any of the core elements that were the foundation for the whole thing; and this current updated look for Jiul, as he would be at the start of the series, only solidified all of the above.

While Hadezelios as a project idea was shelved, it is one of those things that I would not mind revisiting in a future after December 32nd. In what medium, or whether with a team or solo, I don't know.
