This is a gift piece created by silver-stag and given to me. Thank you so much!! I love this picture a ton, namely with its serious expression and awesome cape/costume.
So, there was a campaign I participated in involving the avian fighter character named Gallus Falmo. The DM was renarddefleureax, and silver-stag also participated in the games.
Originally Gallus was a bit of an overexaggerating liar, a womanizer, a coward, a hopeless romantic, etc. (in addition to being a fighter class). Simply put, he had quite a few character flaws! But as the campaign went by and he started to fall in love with one of his fellow party members--as well as developing friendships with everyone--he started to grow and mature. He became better with the sword and decided to use it for the nobler purpose of protecting his friends.
At one point Gallus sacrificed himself to save his friends, nearly perishing in the process. However, his allies later on used a special ritual, and Gallus was resurrected by a god's strange power, turning him into a half-dragon individual.
Losing his avian appearance and being entirely reborn, Gallus had a full character arc, becoming a true and noble paladin (he multi-classed out of fighter halfway through the campaign). His alignment also changed from Chaotic Good to Neutral Good.
By the end of the campaign he married the aforementioned party member and had a happy ending. Hooray!

https://www.furaffinity.net/view/34882032/ this one! Salvina Aquila. They made a very cute, murder-hobo-y couple. And I imagine the wedding was gratis- perks of saving the world and all.
Ah. x3 Well i hope you all have more awesome dnd adventures in the future. ^^
First off, he looks really nice :D.
Also, I like the from Avian to dragon Part, and wonder if it took him much adjusting to his new form.
But how comes when he nearly perished that he had to be resurrected?
Did he perish later on because his wounds were too deep?

DM Note: Gallus sacrificed himself taking in the spirit of a Chaos God that was trying to take over the party and use them as meat puppets, essentially. For months he was out of commission as Gallus' soul battled for control with the Chaos God before he could finally be banished- but the fight left his body withered, and so the party had to, essentially, forge him a new body in the image of his divine father Martius, God of War, Fire, and Industry.
how large did he get at the end of the campaign? like wider than tall beefy?
