It's no surprise that Rod is a very avid griller, how else can he cook a mean steak or burgers or chicken? To him, it's more of an art than just cooking anymore, and during the summer he always likes to invite people over to grill for and party with! Though all that grilling and smelling that barbeque and meat sizzle in the heat does make him a little peckish. If he can't take that gnawing feeling in his middle for long enough he may just pick out someone he invited over while everything is cooking to hold himself over until the food is done. Over time this made party goers learn to bring party food to stave off his hunger, though some of them may still willingly let him snatch them up to quell his belly. Those who he did eat were normally shocked to find that he was still pretty hungry even with them inside of him, and a little ticked off that their burgers would never stay in one solid piece by the time it reached them.
