(Figured that with a new year, I'll update my Rookie chracter's Ref and story)

Story: Nobody knew the true power of the Phantom Ruby, not even Eggman. So, when Rookie was captured and brought in to be experimented on, he was foolish enough to directly attach the ruby to Rookie, and it's true power was unleashed. A being long forgotten rose again.

Inside the Phantom Ruby is the Spirit of Chaos Konton, an ancient Spirit that was sealed away long before Mobius existed. With a flesh and blood host, his power was fully realized. It took no effort to escape Eggman's cluches, and now he and Rookie are bonded together at the soul.

Konton is neither good nor evil, he simply is a being of chaos. This is why he needed a host, so his power could be directed by something with a conscious. Which is why it was a blessing that Rookie become his host and not Infinite, though this doesn't mean that Rookie is safe from falling into evil sometimes, as is the case with any source of power.

They both benefit off of each other in a symbiotic relationship. Through Rookie, Konton gets to experience what it's like to be a mortal being and the simple pleasures while Rookie gets to use Konton's infinite power for the good of others, or himself depending on the situation. Rookie can release control to Konton, in which he will stop at nothing to maim, mutilate, and murder whatever hurt Rookie till he gives back control.

Power: Unlike the fake duplicates that Eggman produced, everything the Ruby makes is very real. It can even reach through time and space to pull things from other realities. It's power is only limited by the host's own abilities and mental capacity.
