Some advice for customers on surviving a general retail environment:
1. Be polite. Civility will get you a lot more help than "EXCUSE ME, isn't there anyone working here?!"
2. Don't haggle. Some things are more expensive than others, but complaining about the price isn't going to change it.
3. Don't ramble. Friendly chat is nice, but employees have better things to do than spend a half hour listening to your life story.
4. NEVER try to tell a pissed off magic fox how to do his job, especially if you already broke all three of the previous guidelines.

Lol! This is the reason I never worked the front desk. They just sorta knew, that if I did, and encountered a customer like that, it wouldn't end well.
