It’s wild to think that my entire artistic career is encompassed in this past decade. Every significant change I’ve undergone as an artist happened ten years ago or less. It feels like this has been my entire life, and anything before it was…almost someone else’s life. I’ve grown so much as both an artist and a person that some of my old work - and sometimes the person who made it - are almost unrecognizable. And yet, I distinctly remember drawing almost every single piece, from painting to sketch. It’s a bizarre, slightly unsettling, but inexplicably inspiring feeling. If I’ve come this far in ten years, where will I be after ten more? What will I learn? What will I create? Who will I be?
