Yield or Bond
To Yield is a way to give in, concede but not quit
Making a concession may be a thing required so in life
A limelight that shines over the action itself becomes something marred
An event that is taken poorly and regarded as negative.
A connection, a link, something that was once real
That now lacks its presence and was never a thing
It is now what you have become.
The very feeling of something fleeting and how it never was
The illusion of the ever elusive bond, like a land bound mackerel
Struggle is nigh complete and feels pitiful by the bend
Fear not it is a choice, just yield or bond.
