Diamond City, a city of opportunity one might say for future game developers. But today, everyone was feeling particularly festive. Why? Because Christmas was just around the corner, and there was snow on top of that! Decorations were strung up on buildings, a big Christmas tree was set up in the city square, people ran around doing last minute shopping, retail workers tried their hardest to keep their sanity, but were always reassured by that one customer every now and again that what they do is appreciated, and most importantly of all, everyone awaited the arrival of Santa. Even Ashley, the normally gloomy young witch who lived in a haunted mansion away from her parents, couldn"t help but feel excited for the holidays. Though there was one thing she always dreaded about winter: The cold. Fortunately, she had a plan to deal with that.
"Let"s see..." Ashley thought aloud as she looked over her shopping list, the short girl had a bit of trouble pushing the cart due to being slightly smaller than it, but she managed to make due. True to form, she was dressed in a red outfit, but it was a bit different from what she usually wore, consisting of a fuzzy red dress with a black belt around her waist and white fuzzy hems, black tights, red snow boots with white fuzzy tops and matching pom poms, a pair of black mittens, and a festive santa cap nestled between those poofy pigtails of hers to give the red eyed witch a much more cheery, festive look than what was normal for her. As she looked around the aisle of the store she was in, Ashley used her magic to make several things float into her shopping cart. Carrots, Celery, Olive oil, chicken, onions, chicken broth, and more were lifted from their spot on the shelf by Ashley"s magic and into the shopping cart. It was obvious what she was planning to do, but the sheer amount of the stuff she was getting would certainly be an attention grabber to anyone who saw it, and this was especially true for the girl working the register today. Mona, a long time friend of Ashley"s who always seemed to be working a new job every time the witch saw her. It took the orange haired woman a moment to realize who was behind the overpacked cart at first, but once she saw Ashley, things began clicking into place.
"Oh! Hey there Ashley, didn"t realize it was you." Mona joked a bit as she began to scan out the items Ashley had brought up to her, though she made sure to count up how much of each item Ashley brought to her to save time, and Ashley was kind enough to correct her if she miscounted. "So, what"s with all this? Planning to serve chicken soup for a party?"
"Nope. It"s all for me." Ashley corrected Mona, who seemed a little confused.
"Oh, so you"re buying it in bulk so you don"t have to shop later?" She asked the young witch as she tried to make sense of what was going on in her mind.
"Something like that." Ashley told her as the total soon showed and Ashley paid for the items she bought. With that, she put the shopping cart back where it belonged, used her magic to levitate the items inside their bags that she paid for, and walked out onto the cold, snow covered sidewalks of her home city, the sounds of snow crunching beneath her boots were like music to her ears. She hummed her own theme music happily as she walked to her broom, which she had parked close by, and once she was seated on it, she began flying off towards her mansion to enact her plan.
In the den of Ashley"s mansion, Ashley hummed as she dumped the items she bought into a massive cauldron, the broth soon coming to a boil as the other ingredients were prepped using magic before being dumped into the concoction with everything else. What was she making? Why gallons upon gallons of Chicken Noodle soup of course! "I should have thought of this ages ago." Ashley admitted to herself as she stirred the soup happily. She wasn"t much of a cook, but she did find a wonderful recipe online that she was eager to try, and she was following it to the letter with the necessary changes to account for the far bigger serving size she planned on. After a while, she allowed the soup to cook for a bit longer, but then she began searching her potion cabinet for something. "Lets see..." As her eyes scanned the shelfs upon shelfs of potions she brewed and bottled up, two were quickly picked up and brought to the cauldron before they were opened up and dumped right in.
Ashley loved the holidays, even if she would never admit it outright, but she hated being cold. One day however, Penny had told Ashley about how animals will fatten themselves up for winter to stay nice and warm, waking up only to eat more food before going back to sleep. And while Ashley had no intention of hibernating, she did plan to take a cue from the animal kingdom. The potions she was mixing into her soup were a potent calorie enhancer and an appetite stimulant to ensure she would consume every last drop of the fattening soup she was concocting. Her big plan was to make herself into an immense butterball for the winter, and then shed the weight once spring rolled around. And hey, maybe packing on the pounds would finally make her look a bit more like her actual age. Wouldn"t that be nice?
"I wonder if Penny will like me once I"m done?" Ashley thought to herself as she stirred the pot once more, her mind filled to the brim with thoughts of the red haired teen scientist while she had a dorky smile and blush on her face. Ashley had a crush on Penny, but she was too shy to admit to it. That and she was a character in a Nintendo game, so she wasn"t allowed to act on such feelings, even if it was in a fanfic and not by Nintendo themselves. Once she was finished, Ashley used her magic to begin lifting that size twenty five cauldron up, and after putting a funnel into her own mouth, she tipped the cauldron over and let it"s contents pour into the funnel and down her throat.
Gulp after gulp, Ashley chugged down the soup and it"s chunky contents whole, the warm, soothing soup quickly filling her stomach up as it began to gently bloat outward with a soft gurgle. Her stomach churned softly as her belt began to creak while it squeezed her expanding midsection. Ashley put a hand to her stomach and gently rubbed it as it grew, while she used her other hand to try and get that belt off as fast as she could. She really hadn"t thought that through. SNAP! Off that belt broke as her stomach began to poke out between her dress and tights, and not long afterwards, Ashley began to feel the rest of her clothes start to tighten as the calorie enhancer did it"s job. Her once flat chest began to grow, while her hips and ass flared out in size under their constraints. Her arms and legs grew increasingly soft and wide, gaining a distinct cone shape to them as she quickly became a chubby little lass, which made Ashley realize the serious danger her clothes were in as she felt them getting increasingly tight around her expanding frame. Fortunately, she had a solution for that. A quick enchantment and a magical tap to her clothes, and her festive outfit began to stretch and grow along with her expanding frame, preventing any further wardrobe malfunctions. Ashley was really on her game today it seemed, her plan was coming together better than she could have hoped.
With every pound added to her body, Ashley could feel herself getting warmer by the minute. Too warm in fact. Despite the fact she had left her window opened to air out the smoke from the fire she used for her cauldron, Ashley was practically sweating! Even with the cold air blowing against her, the now chubby, soup logged witch felt like she was roasting inside her body as she continued to fill out her figure. Fortunately, magic came to the rescue once more as she poofed up that usual red dress of hers, replacing the winter themed one with a more summery version of her outfit, though she kept the tights since that dress of hers didn"t reach passed her stomach in her current, swollen state.
It wasn"t long before Ashley finally drank every last drop of soup she had made, but by then, she had grown quite obese, and collapsed onto her butt with a loud thud. She spat the funnel out now that she was done and released a mighty, deep belch to signal her triumph. Her butt cheeks had each grown to the size of beachballs, while her hips had grown considerably to accommodate that new asset of hers, and while her shoes looked to be a bit snug on her feet now, they didn"t bother her much. A pair of D-cups now sat atop her large beanbag chair of a belly, which was firm, round, and warm to the touch thanks to all that soup inside her. This brought a bit of a blush to Ashley"s now round, chubby face as she used her now plump hands to rub that full stomach of hers happily. "Mmm... I think I can get used to this." She admits happily as even with the snowy weather outside and the cold breeze filling her home, Ashley felt like she was snug and toasty in front of a fire place.
However, as Ashley relaxed and celebrated her victory, a startling revelation quickly swept over her: how was she supposed to get up in such an immense state?! Immediately, Ashley tried to lift her fat legs, but it was just no use. She hadn"t exactly been in the best physical shape before, and now she must have gained well around seven hundred pounds! There was no way she was getting up from her spot with her own power. Good thing she had magic, because she realized she needed it. Thinking fast, Ashley levitated her cellphone over to herself, and called up her friend Penny, hoping she could lend a hand.
"Crygor Labs, Penny speaking." Penny answered over the phone in an almost professional manner. Ashley felt her heart racing when she heard Penny"s voice, a big blush covering her face as she worked up the courage to speak.
"Hey, Penny? It"s me, Ashley." Ashley nervously began as the mad scientist listened to her friend on the other end. "This is going to sound weird, but could you stop by my house a little later? And maybe bring some heavy lifting equipment too."
"Why do you need heavy lifting equipment?" Penny asked with an understandable amount of confusion in her voice. As far as she knew, Ashley had no need for anything like that.
"It"s... kind of embarrassing to say out loud. It"ll make sense when you get here though."
"Oh, well alright then. I"ll be there soon." Penny promised Ashley before hanging up. Ashley wondered how Penny would react when she saw her, but that wouldn"t be for quite some time. For now, Ashley had some time to kill before the mad scientist got there, and so, with a bit more magic, she levitated her switch over to her, and turned it on. She figured she could pass the time playing her new game, Age of Calamity, to help take her mind off of things.
