Thanks to everyone who has been extra super patient and kind to me throughout 2020. I’ve made a number of oopsies that have cost me time in reading, commenting, and communicating with and for my friends. It is my goal to remedy this at the onset of 2021.
So, if I may, I’d like to share some special thanks to those who really made a difference in my 2020 and to whom I look forward to repaying their kindness and/or paying it forward.

Sweetie is the reason I fully got myself into Twitter. His daily ‘Padded Princess Of The Foals’ tweets always bring me a smile. He is also the first artist whose work I came to love without any eyesight. I never thought I could follow new artists upon going 100% blind, but Sweetie puts so much love and care into his works that, genuinely, it is hard to not see what he shares. His visual descriptions are great, too!
What I want to do for Sweetie is be more regular in replying to his notes. We share many great times, stories, and creative thoughts. I’ve just fallen so far behind and let depression make me fall even further behind. This will be remedied.

Sapphire has been a very supportive and understanding friend throughout 2020. She created the ‘Team Quack’ Pokemon series of images I have made stories for despite me taking forever-and-ever to work on the stories I was to provide in exchange for the work.
Saphy has also been beyond patient as, since losing all my eyesight, I’ve fallen behind on our shared super project, ‘Fallen Angel’. I do intend to see this through and get my mind able to remember all the details of each character in the series without heavily relying on document files that I need to scroll through with the pesky screen reading software. (I truly do worry about missing a detail and have let it freeze me from further progress)
My goal for Saphy is to catch up on all her art that I have yet to look through while getting back to our shared stories involving her heavily detailed and extremely lovable characters.

Cosmo is a really good friend that I let slip through as I struggled with on-and-off anxiety and depression. He is super fun to talk to and got me hooked on ‘Riff Tracks’ while opening my mind to the powers of knowing you can always make that which you cannot find. (He’s a most excellent model builder with creative insight that makes imperfections, like missing parts, not come off as anything more than chances to customize a given project)
Cosmo, once I get all organized, I am going to write and, if you will allow me to, reestablish our friendship and wonderful discussions.

Lanny has been sharing a massive amount of creativity throughout 2020. He has two story series I haven’t had a chance to read yet and, golly, this needs rectified.
The goal for Lanny is to read his stories, provide feedback, and work more on world building between my characters and his characters.
Fun fact is how it was Lanny who introduced me to the joys of a cloth diaper. They are most wonderful to have and even better to keep around for when disposables can’t be afforded. (They are also great diaper covers when you just are not feeling like getting changed in the middle of the night when you are relaxing away high anxiety and ditching depression)
leonXIII
Leon has been really kind as, like with Lanny, I’ve fallen behind on all he has done while barely keeping up on a majority of his posts and journals.
It is my truest of hopes to be more active with Leon as he continues to build his stories and characters. Not to forget I still need to read ‘Shield Of Art’. (It’s in my Inbox, but I will need to read it on my laptop as the screen reader on my iPhone just won’t do it)
theconflicted
Really great writer and one I just got too anxious and depressed to properly follow as I really wanted to. The Conflicted is also close friends with one of my favorite artists from before I lost all my sight, Plinkers.
If it is not too late, I am going to time manage to read that chapter I was sent back in June, (Yes it is that long ago and bad of me), and, if allowed, follow all the chapters that have been released since my falling behind.
ozziekitskunk
Ozzie has always been a fantastic pal. However he has really started to write and I haven’t read a single page of his work.
Please know that I am going to, as with Lanny and Leon, work towards catching up on what all I have not read and provide feedback. I want to do it and I am done letting unhappy things and stress keep me from sitting down and enjoying a good read.
starponys
Starburst has been helping me update ‘The Haposaurs’ for over a year now. As he has done this, he has been creating a fantastic series of his own that advances upon the concepts we were introduced to in ‘My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic’.
I support him through Patreon, but it is meager in comparrison to supporting through reading and commenting on his work. So, like all those I mentioned above, I will get caught up on my reading and not let myself feel bad for taking time to read. (Feeling I should be doing something more than just sitting and listening has been a massive block from me reading anything while causing me additional stress from being so far behind on everything creative with my pals)
theohvist
A super talented writer who really has a great talent for developing worlds and back story. They also have done so much to share their work so that I had something fun to read while I got my mind off life’s difficulties during the latter part of this year.
I am going to, like mentioned above over-and-over, get to reading your latest additions to your epic story while providing solid comments and encouraging you to not only make this fan fiction amazing, but see how you may be able to make it even more than a fan fiction given just how truly unique and amazing your creation is.
I know this is a short list and I have missed some very good people to whom I just haven’t been as caring to as I should. If I did miss you, I encourage you to mention it in my comments so that I can work on rebuilding what I, and I alone, allowed to slip away as a result of anxiety, depression, and putting myself up to standards that I should never put myself up to.

*Hugs* Thanks, Saphy. I really do aim to see them through by using a mixture of therapeutic techniques and medication. :)
Aww, its okay. You can read them when you have the time. No rush. ^^ Hope ya have a Happy New Year! *crinklesnugs*
*Crinklesnugs* I really wanted to let you know how much I value our friendship and want to be a part of your creative adventures. Lack of reading and commenting can be seen as lack of interest. It is not lack of interest as much as it is me not doing well with my anxiety and stress management. :(
2021 will be a better year now that I am aware of my psychological shortcomings. After all, as 'G.I. Joe' taught us, "Knowing is half the battle.". :)

*crinklesnugs* Oh I know, and the same applies to me. I may not comment on everything you post, but that doesn't mean I don't care. ^^ For example, today is my birthday! So I may not be as talkative online or may not be on as late. Hehe, hope you have a much better new year as well!
Thank you very much for saying those amazing things about me Yosh. I hope you can really reach your goals in the new year. Amazing usage of the picture that I shared to you by the way! Now I realize that it was a bit small apparently... Anyways, great usage! *quack*
*Snugs* You have been a very wonderful friend, Sweetie. I want to always show how true of 'A True, True Friend' you are to me along with how much our shared discussions are enjoyable and looked forward to being had.
Oh, as I work through some job searching this week, I do have a mental outline of what I want to write for your Spike and Twilight Hearth's Warming picture. So look for that as, for me, it is going to help with my anxiety over how much I am scared to try finding another job. (Over 3 jobs I have seen more discrimination towards those with disabilities and have been brought to suicidal thoughts as a result. I really want to be positive, but I cannot help but worry of how Job #4 could only add to my mental anguish and psychosymatic pain)

Sounds good for me Yosh. I can't wait to read it when it's ready. For the moment just try to relax a little bit and don't let your present being "messed" by your past.
I genuinely do feel bad for how I have neglected your writing. What I need to most do is convert 'Shield Of Art', and other works of yours, into .TXT files so I can upload them to my phone and listen to them as I mill around and take care of household chores. It's just making sure I make myself do it so I don't keep neglecting that in which I am genuinely interested in.
Please know I really do value your work and how kind you are to share it with me, Leon. You may see me commenting and liking other things, but they are largely small in comparison to what I want to do for your work. (I always want to give what you and my other pals write 110% of my attention)
Be well and here's to a positive 2021!

Hey, it's okay. Your personal life and personal needs should always come first, especially in this day and age where too many people don't take good care of themselves.
Thank you for your support. I have felt awful of how badly I have fallen behind on collaborating with you, too. The 'Potty Training Tales' were a lot of fun and, once I am back in sorts, I do hope to catch up on all the writing you've done as I lost myself. :)
There's going to be a lot to catch up on, and it's probably going to be ending soon since I think it's just about run its course. There aren't really any characters left that are "Must Do".
Well, if I recall, you have written a number of great stories that go beyond the topic of Potty Training. I just have not been able to read anything FiM in months due to all the yuck and muck I've been trudging through.
Truly, I am glad that FiM Fiction is still around. I worried the end of the show would stop the creative surge that it provided so many up-and-coming authors. Fan fiction is a great way to start into building creative confidence in your own abilities to do other forms of writing. :)

Ironically, I started my own pony work back when I felt disillusioned with the show’s message of friendship. That was back in the early days, back in 2012. Once I realized the show had finally matured, it actually started to teach me some important lessons. I started to appreciate how relatable the characters had become. In a big way, the show became bronified — mainly in a good way.
Oh! I did not know you were watching the show around 2012. Can you remember what made you genuinely want to come back and watch it again? Season 6 did not start until 2016 and that is 4 years of past time from our pony pals.
'The Haposaurs' started back in 1999 as a story that has long since faded into non-existance. I submitted the first story for my undergraduate Creative Writing class. My professor pulled me aside and told me I should keep working on it and, well, I did. (Looking forward to working with you and Silver Kitty on this in 2021)

I watched a few episodes back between 2010 and 2012 plus a few clips on YouTube.
The one with Trixie, I found offensive because of the depiction of Snips and Snails. I found it degrading to both boys and the mentally handicapped.
The clips of Fluttershy’s and Pinkie Pie’s dark sides (“The Best Night Ever” and “The Last Roundup”) definitively convinced me that the show was not serious about the message of friendship — and that the characters were not very likable. Overall, I stand by that assessment for the first two seasons.
The characters had a lot of growing up to do, and so did the show. My assumption was that the show could go only from bad to worse. Finally, the movie’s visuals took me in, and I was compelled to watch it. I found it one of the most inspirational movies I had ever seen. And then I learned about the Student 6 in Seasons 8-9. Finally, I gained the courage to give the show one more try.
I was more surprised by the later improvements than I was by my initial disappointment.
When I started my own pony work, I was parodying MLP to get something as close as I legally could to a revision. Once I saw how much FIM improved, I felt more free to dissimilate my character designs from FIM.
Even so, Nightlight and White Night remain a shameless parody of Twilight and Shining Armor. I take the BBBFF relationship and make it a driving force of my work. My parody of Shining Armor feels much stronger as a character. Conversely, Nightlight is much more troubled at first. Also, she tends to be more messy and unorganized.
