Christmas was approaching and everyone was looking forward to it.

Plucky Duck and Hampton J. Pig were walking through town when they saw Ryan and Persephone standing in the middle of the sidewalk with a large can placed on the ground. They were playing instruments. Persephone was blowing a jug and Ryan was strumming a bass made from a washtub.

"Hey," said Plucky. "What are you guys doing out here?"

"We're trying to raise a little money," said Persephone. "So we decided to put together a jugband."

Hampton smiled. "Golly, you think we could join?"

Plucky turned to him. "We were supposed to meet Buster and Babs at the mall, remember?"

"Oh, right. I forgot."

They took some quarters out of their pockets and tossed them in the can before heading on.

"Thanks," said Ryan. "Merry Christmas.
