I haven't done a painted feather in forever D: This seemed like a good way to practice...of course I decided to try my first double feather and it took much longer than I expected!
I also forgot how much a pain in the butt scanning/photographing painted feathers is. This is a scan, but I liked the colors of the photographs better...but the photographs don't get all the detail! So I had to choose one. Oh well.
This started off as a pair of plain old gryphons, but then I figured I'd jazz them up with some color. After all, if they live in the jungle, then why can't they be colorful like everything else?

I like how you did two feathers instead of just one. I would love to see more of these!!
Awesome! Feather painters are such a rarity and I've never seen a 2 feather.
