Spyro has been humiliated and defeated...
There are many stories about Spyro the Dragon that proclaim him as a hero. However, many do not know of the low points in the purple dragon's journey. He started out weak yet overconfident when all the other dragons turned into crystals, and when all the gems turned into hostile Gnorcs. During Spyro's first few attempts, it was common for his enemies to laugh about his tiny size before easily knocking him out. Every time Spyro was knocked unconscious, Sparx the Dragonfly would have to bring his limp body back to the Artisans' homeworld to rest and recover.
