made a new ref. i really wanted to get the markings to be easier for others and myself when breaking them down, so, here we are with a fresh new ref sheet!
The numbers will be for when i commission and want a certain hairstyle. Default anatomy and hair are whatever, though. I do not mind paws or hands or hand paws, or plantigrade or digitigrade... you can draw them running on all fours even! Their hair is whatever i feel like, but those are some solid examples. they can even be more wolf or human like in the face (TBH they are a shapeshifter so they can look like what they want but HOW do i put that kinda spectrum here? instead there is no spectrum on the ref but for the feet and hair lmao!).
i might go back and add some text or something.
they are 27 human years, 5'5, they have some chunk, they have one pup and a mate

I have a genuine adoration for this representation of Jasper. The hair styles are wonderful. The form and structure of their body and face are, despite your voiced concerns about being one-note with this character, a beautiful melding of humanoid and bestial features. 14/10: would provide both ear skritches and first access to fresh kills.

1) Oh no! Ear infection or injury?
2) Depends on how I feel about him at the time. Most of the time, he’s just a dude who is me but fuzzy. Those times, he hunts the meat department of his local grocer. Other times, I indulge more bestial imagery. Then, it’s all fours and crouched in the brush near a game trail, waiting for hapless prey to pass into ambush range. A leap; claws latching into hide and muscle; teeth sinking hard through hair, hide, and sinew to wedge between vertebrae and pierce the spinal cord behind the skull; panting and growling as the last twitches subside; blood and appreciation.
