...God, that's beautiful. Can I use that as my PC background?

blessed be Bob Ross, may his creativity inspire all, and rest in peace ^^

Same. Im currently learning procreate and the first thing I'm painting is a landscape painting of a forested mountain range. Its soooo baaaad.
I always, always, always love seeing your landscapes. They're so cozy and awe inspiring. <3
It looks like that world is towing an extra mountain behind it! A spare in case one of the other mountains goes flat?
Still, not the easiest thing to visualize the world's edge. Easily said, but not so easily visualized, so cut yourself some slack.
I'm reminded of what the writer Neil Gaiman said on set of the movie adaption of his novel 'Stardust' (Not an exct quote mind you):
"When I wrote the novel 10 years ago I needed a way to get my main characters down from the cloud they were stranded on. The solution was easy. A flying ship. A few lines do descripe it and problem solved. And now these poor people have to build the entire ship. I want to go around and apologize to every one of them."

Have to put goats on the roof to keep the grass down. This is lovely.
This is a very nice painting. Calm and peaceful and with a good depth.
I really love doing landscapes! I just find I end up using a lot of layers and end up drawing on the wrong ones all the time. :P
All I have to say is 🎶I can see for miles and miles🎶
And is that a floating mountain on a chain? ;3

Love the shadowy textures on the mountainsides, is that a trick you've picked up or a brush type you've found?
Actually, I made that brush m'self :D Gotta add a bit of variation to it sometime, though.
Hell yes, it looks really good. I can usually spot repeated patterns and couldn't spot any obvious ones so I think you've made a damn good brush already.
I am beginning to wonder if perhaps the world could be fixed and become whole again. If so, I am guessing it'd take someone who could access ALL of sources directly (except the white, of course.) Just to be able to recreate the landmasses, oceans and life in such a grand scale. Otherwise, who knows how long the world can keep lasting if there's a chance the white energy continues to fight through the years.
And the world will be mended. And the world will be mended..
Well, if you and landscapes have had trouble understanding each other, I'd LOVE to see how well you could do if you ever understand each other. This is wonderful.
This is beautiful. I like the way the light was rendered and the mountains are pretty while being badass. Okay, now I'm imagining Bob Ross saying, "Paint those happy badass mountains."
The rough texture at the edge of the grassy hills really works. The only part that has me confused is the fact that the moment I saw the house in the circle of wall in the center, I imagined it was going to blast off into space. This may be me on too little sleep. XD

An island on a chain?
Is this what Alfred meant when he said he was tired when he left that message for Fenfen in Lars. Is the world falling apart or are Alfred and the dragons still putting it back together after another spat with his planet eater Ex?
I mean, it makes for cool scenery, but probably makes for a pain to get around to places that aren't really connected with the rest of the world they live on. Just getting that bridge must have been a chore with how gravity works at the edge.

Yeah. As in I start doing this shit for a living.
I immediately made this my PC background! I'm a big sucker for flying islands, and the way this pulls that off without initially looking like it is... magnifique.
Landscapes are indeed hard to make look good with a generally cell shaded style. I'm struggling myself every single time I have to make one.
It's trying to find a balance between having enough detail in there to not look like flat, bland colours while at the same time not so detailed that it looks like a mess of lines or textures everywhere...

The chained floating mountain kind of reminds me of the floating islands from Skylanders.
