Sooo - yeah - i again failed to get the intended piece ready in time ( an old inking of Miss B and Lord Tad with new colours - a whole lot of preliminary colour studies.... that will take some time.... So it's back to old art.
A silly '50s/'60s style cartoon pin-up. From around '89 - '91 done during lunch time at an animation studio not here named (fans will figure it out) with dark blue and white prismacolor pencils on medium blue toned paper. Digi edit wiff red and peachy skin and white glow hair done in Krita around '15 ???
i wuz going to post this eventually with some other cartoon pin-up pics, but i was trying to do this months posts sort of serious or whatever for the Emma And Ash stuff but blew that right away. Getting those scans cleaned-up to post has taken way longer than i thougtht it would. On the other paw i wanted some contrast with the mood of the sketchbook ... so....
Yeah. i'm slow and clueless.
Prismacolor pencils on blue paper 8 1/2 x 11 inch (might have been smaller - it was a long timw ago)
some digi art programme (this was a long time ago) prolly Krita for the clean-up

i was sort of evoking the style of some '60's Playboy magazine cartoonists mixed with some classic animation styles. Not being analytical, just playing around.
Wow really, really nice! This makes me think of Liz Renay for some reason.
I didn't know who Liz Renay was. Interesting reading :

i've seen a number of John Water films, but oddy enough never "Desperate Living" ... or did i ? A long time ago.
Favorite John Waters moment was in "Female Trouble" - when Divine comes out on stage with a pistol and shouts "Who wants to die for Art ? "
