A rare macro treat from you! I wonder how soft or rough a giant's soles would end up being. Either way, that tiny sure looks comfortable under all that weight. Might wanna press down a bit harder.
I always thought the macro scene had plenty of quality artists on it already.
Well what a nice big guy! Love it when a macro lets a micro enjoy some paw-time like that. Nice pose too - two very different views of the paws, and a clear one of the main character as well.
Has been a fun angle to draw. Really pushing that sense of scale despite the lack of a frame of reference.
Putting those paw drawing skills to a good alternative use, I see. :P
I will happily try out all types of paw art, even if its not to my personal tastes.
As referenced. Heel pads still seem to be one of those 50/50 additions between artists.
What's your thoughts on the blade of the foot then (the bit next to the arch)?
I'd say every foot has it's beauty, and toe rings are fun. I like the way the rat you drew dressed his foot with one.
