Once the hole closed behind Grey, he looked at the new area he was in. It was a dark place that didn't make any sense. There were spots to stand on above and below, different paths that started and ended at random, pits were everywhere, and Grey felt lighter than he did back at home. When Grey looked down, he was mildly surprised as it looked like he stood on nothing. Grey then got a solemn expression.
"Cedric," Grey said, "I'm sorry for what I did... I will make sure you stay alive, even it costs me my life..."
Grey then took a deep breath, dried his tears, and rushed forward.
FINAL MISSION... START!

The last stage was difficult, but Grey simply persisted. Some paths moved diagonally up and down, while others rotated in different directions. For the up and down ones, he waited to dash jump to the next path at the right time. As for the rotating ones, they were trickier to deal w/ as Grey had to run up them to not fall off, but he got past them w/o too much trouble. There were parts w/ crumbling footholds where Grey had to quickly jump to the next platform as they crumbled away almost immediately. At one point, he had to wall jump fast to go up between two walls as what he had just gone through began to crumble away! As for the enemies, oddly enough, the stage was strangely empty. Aside from Grey himself, nothing else living existed in this realm. The final obstacles were blocks. At some points, Grey would be trapped in a room where blocks would slide up, down, and sideways. Grey had to quickly jump up the blocks, dash underneath them, and repeat the process until he could proceed. Eventually, after much hardship through the stage, Grey finally reached his destination. It was a doorway cut into a large, black wall. Inside, he could sense Azrael and Asmodeus' energy. He took a deep breath and exhaled.
This is it. Time to finally end this, Grey thought.
He then stepped through the doorway...
