The Twilight Bloom (by winsenta)
YCH from the talented winsenta!
Thw Twilight Bloom, sometimes called the Flower of the Divine. Believers in the Divine Beasts believe it to be a gift that their gods leave upon the world, but the details vary based on the individual"s belief. One will tell you that it grows in the shade of the Divine Bat"s wings; others, in soil tamped by the Divine Mare"s hooves. Followers of the Divine Bull believe its entrancing beauty enchants men to turn blades and magic upon their breathren for but a glimpse. Followers of the Divine Serpent believe that it will cure all ills if picked by one with the blessing of their patron, while one without the Serpent"s favour shall sicken, weaken, and die of its poisons within the year. Even the unseen disciples of the Divine Shark believe their patron is drawn towards its power - for what purpose, if they know, they do not tell.
Whatever the individual faithful may believe, there is one thing they agree upon - only one with the favour of all five Divine Beasts will be granted the Twilight Bloom. Of course, the Beasts are fickle, unpredictable, and uncontrollable. In all history and texts written of the Beasts, there have been vanishingly few who can claim to have seen the Bloom, fewer still who have proven their claims. For who could possibly cause the Beasts to set aside their animosity? Who could tame the rage the Bull feels for the Mare, cause Shark and Serpent to set their hostility aside for the sake of one mortal?
And what could it mean if a dragon who kneels before no god were to find the flower of the gods...?

Ah yes, a riddle in a beautiful piece of art. That which harbors no diety sees that which believers look for most. I do believe that ultimately it is yours to answer, and yours to find favor in, as you are in charge of your destiny.
It is quite the conundrum, one which I must puzzle out on my journeys.
ooooh some very nice art there, and kinda fitting too, those who kneel before no god treat them all equally after all
Very true, perhaps that could have something to do with the puzzle!
Beautiful ^^ Another wonderful pic in your gallery, sir
Absolutely beautiful work, the artist rly shows good handwork in this one. You can sense the atmosphere. Interesting flower as well, I wonder where that kind of flower blooms and how often?~
Looks like an old adventure game. Arix's life could be turned into a great game. I'd play it.
What do you plan to do now that you've seen the bloom?
A very fascinating story. I am intrigued by what adventure this entails. But nonetheless this is a very cool art style
Who- O-OH I'M SORRY I DIDN'T MEAN TO STARTLE YOU O<>O
