Not super happy with my color choice, seems overly bright, also lack of good contrast makes everything look pretty flat. Still not sure if the spotty effect on their nose and paws was a good idea or not, it doesn't look too great to me anymore but I could just be overanalyzing. Feel like the yellow in the top left panel looks not great. Also god dang was painting a motorcycle overly hard. Nothing really sticks out on this page as something I'm super happy with (which is why I think was a good part of the reason I moved away from gouache after this page because it took so long but gave me lackluster results, granted a lot of that was just inexperience.)
One fun thing though is the phone itself, this whole story takes place in an area known as Capolan which is a sort of eutopic society and I wanted to design some stuff that you would find/use in that world and one of those things was this modular phone. Technology in general is very modular in this world.
