Patiently waiting for the slow, old compressor to wind up, Equipment Technician Dau is listening to to some chill tracks to kill time. Not really following the regulations of his past Odraani technician training, but nobody will call reprehend him for it on the Scalló
Dau is from the same species as Helena, which considering the size of the Odraani is quite rare. However, coming from a different culture, they don't get along as well as one would imagine; he is very reserved, and only talks when he absolutely needs to.
From the suggestion thread, asking more peeps from the Scalló <3
This pic came out muuuuch slower and harder than the looks would justify; everything that could go wrong went wrong at least once during drawing this but hey, he be done ...

Wonderful uniform design and I love the calm feeling about it.
Though I could assume by the look of the room it's anything but;
All I imagine is the brrrr, hiss and rattle of all that machinery.
Good thing Dau got those head phones to drown it out with music.

He's the kind of guy who wont ever put in a request for a replacement compressor so he can keep that time to enjoy his music. A faster machine means less tunes.
Humming along to the music in his ears and the hammering of the engines and pumps, just chilling while keeping an eye on everything.
For as much trouble Dau has given you, he still turned out amazing, just goes to show what an amazing and dedicated artist you are! <3

I have a 4.5k psi compressor I use it to fill paintball tanks but have the adapters to fill scuba tanks too =) it's noisy and annoying lol
His posture is making me imagine him as a gruff old guy who doesn't take any shit from anybody, but is the best at what he does, damn it! O:
