This ship is one of the Faelune from the Edgerunners universe, their ships travel faster then light by using warp drives. The ships ring can join to another from long distances forming a worm hole like conduit which other ships can utilize to travel to a destination much faster or use for emergency purposes.

It should also be noted that the ship can travel in normal space using warp by capturing a warp bubble underneath the ship and riding on top of it, this method is only used for slower travel but still uses it's warp capabilities.
