Which video game? also dependend of the game engine and hardware they making the game for, while today shit gets awesome grafiks but look 10 or more years ago how fast grafiks developed.
In a Game with such high resulotion models gonna be GPU intesiv if you have many so tricks not to render these models if not seen or having lower resulution in distance to save on GPU performance are common, or the game type uses very few models at the same time like arena fighting game.

Yeah, 3D models in game engines need to be a lot more optimized in order for the game to run smoothly, especially games running on mobile platforms.
Even modern AAA games running on today's powerful PCs typically won't have such a high number of triangles in a character model. The available graphics horsepower is better spent on the environment as well as animating the rigging with such a high number of vertices puts a lot of load on the CPU. If you have a lot of such high detail characters on screen at once you might even run out of video memory to hold it all.

No. You could put it through blender though, and export it as an stl
