Old Friend Of Mine ~
Urf, how do I explain this. I miss one of my best school friends, who was my greatest friend and we stuck together through everything.
He came to me for everything. I came to him for everything.
Just thinking about him and now I wouldn't be able to contact him unless I bumped into him somehow in town.
With Covid19, thats never going to happen.
With him being stationed in the Navy, its even less likely.
I'm hurting bad, loads of memories just crop up and remind me of all the times we shared.
I have so many stories and fond memories of us being together.
Even though our friends wanted us to be a couple, we became closer than that, we decided that we were blood brothers.
Our families are both broad Irish and we joked about knowing each other in every lifetime. :)
He's my best friend. I don't care if I dont have his number,, fb, twitter or email.
Blood is thicker than water, and even if he has...forgotten about me...i'll never forget him.
I just hope he's safe.
I'm so proud of him and all he's achieved.

I promised him i'll always be here, even if we wander away from one another.
I'm always here for him, my best friend, my lil' brother...my blood brother. <3

I'm sorry Thrash. If it helps, it doesn't sound like he's forgotten about you if that's how close you were to each other. It sounds like a beautiful friendship/brotherhood you two share. I hope you do reunite one day.
This is where I would say fuck Covid, long as you wear what’s needed I say go try and visit him if you can.
