Ahhhh!!! Neopets! :3

A new game came out earlier this year caled marupets... Which is exactly neopets but like the old version

If youre thinking of Marapets, thats been around for a really long time, they celebrated their 15th birthday this year!

I poked around on Marapets/Subeta n the like a bit but none of them caught me the way Neopets has (for now). I used to play Subeta a good bit! Never really got into Marapets though

I also play on a site called Leopets that is actually a classic Neopets site exactly, including actual Neopets before conversion, and with really neat games (not Flash but still well done) and a great community, plus a lot of user made content :>

They open applications on the first of every month to keep from overloading their servers with people joining all the time, I highly recommend it!! I've played Subeta and Marapets and a few others and honestly keep coming back to Neo, but Leo's caught my attention really well and I almost forget to check on Neo sometimes X3

I'd heard about Leopets but to be honest as a kid I didn't really play the actual game of Neopets- I was just active on the boards haha. So I'm not really nostalgic for the way it "used to be" (pre-customization) and am sorta just enjoying how it is now, although ofc there are lots of issues -c-

I may check it out- from the front page it looks like they've added things too? Are the pets / assets all different just the vibe is based on Neopets? I'll go ahead and apply on the 1st and see what's up :)

It's actually mostly the same! There's a handful of pets that were added in, like a cute lil blind cave creature called a Ginko, and there's lots of user made items and colors and stuff.
