The massive creature unfurled its feathered wings, covering the two students in shadow.

"See, she's not so bad!" the Ravenclaw boy piped up cheerfully, glancing back at the girl that clung to his robe.

"What the FUCK-" she started, only to jump and hide behind him as the creature chuckled. It looked down upon them with a kind smile, tilting its head to the cowering Slytherin.

"It is alright my dear, I will not harm you. Any friend of his is a friend of mine."

Look, I may not be a fan of what Rowling is doing now, BUT I still love the idea of my babs being in the wizarding world.

Anyway!

While generally taking a human form and being a part of the Hufflepuff house, in reality Aria is actually a Sphinx! 😃 Which of COURSE counts as a mythical creature.
And, of course, she's not a small creature either, so she's bound to scare a few people.
Unfortunately, while Mica loves animals, the big ones make her nervous, meaning Arias true form would scare the living fuck out of her. She eventually gets used to her with the help of Boris, who is... so far the only other person who knows what Aria truely is. :'D
