Mini half sort story thing: Gem was over at her big cousin amais house to play. Amai was horrible with other child, because she was terrible at socializing, but gem was easy, gem didnt expect her to talk or play imagination games, she was too little to do much of either herself, amai could just sit with her and shove toys into other toys and gem would be happy she was playing with her. Usually amais style of playing with gem was really following gem and cleaning up the messes she made. Amai liked everything in her room to be in its place but it was okay if gem moved them she could always just put them back and she liked spending time with the sweet little squirrel. It was nice to have someone she could spend time with without being nervous. Amai had even been able to dress gem up however she liked. She squirmed like an octopus while being dressed but if you could get it on her she would wear anything. Amai loved this. She loved to cosplay so whenever she could, she would get gem corresponding outfits. She had found an ushio dress for herself and managed to wrestle the squirming octo squiggle into a dango sleeper before they started to play.
Amai was cleaning up some ponies. Gem had knocked them to the floor, chewed on then got bored and gone to find more toys to play with. Suddenly though all the lights went out. Gem shrieked and started to cry. Amai wanted to do the same but she was ten years old. She had to be brave for gemma. She picked her up and looked towards where she knew the door was. There was a light coming from that way, someone, probably one of thier parents, had found a flash light or a lit a candle. She wanted to head to the door and go to the adult but she found herself frozen with fear, in the dark anything could get them, zombies, weeping angels, anything! She found she couldnt move and inch. Gem babbled and cried with fear but all amai could do was hold her close in an attempt to comfort both the little squirrel and herself. Hearing a call from downstairs she finally managed to make a run for the open door holding the confused squirrel close. The grown ups met them there with flashlights and brought them downstairs to wait for the lights to come back together, thier presence comforting the two young girls.

Her arms are folded under gem holding her up. Gem is dressed in a green dango onesie that folds alot because it's big on her. The red brown squirrels huge tail drops bellow her. Her hands flails out and she looks terrified. Both girls have tears in thier eyes. Gems blue eyes look down. She has short brown hair, brown tipped short ears and a cream colored muzzle. The background is darkness with a little light in the direction amai is looking.
