The Ruger 1911, got friends with these and its all high praises for them. Its a .45ACP, its got the guts to drop the occasional criminal problem child if needed. Got a few 1911 style or .45 frames myself. Recently scored a Tsias 1911 Tactical CHEAP ($250) and its a fine hunk of steel. My EDC is a Taurus Officers 1911 https://www.furaffinity.net/view/32562665/ when I'm not lugging my Taurus G2c or Ruger EC9 or Firestar .40.
