Voice Mic Test - "Chariot"
During all this time of craziness, I've been spending my time (and money) improving my setup for music. I've made many improvements to my drum set, fixed up an extra keyboard I had lying around, and - most recently - I bought a fancy recording mic!
I took a bunch of recordings to test out different aspects of the new microphone.
To test out how voice recordings sound, I went with what has been a favorite and my go-to warm-up song for a loooong time:
"Chariot" by Gavin DeGraw
There were a couple of sour notes in here, but I CLEARLY did well enough for people to see I have talent.
In terms of the recording quality, I think I hit it perfectly on the first try! The new mic sounds really good for voice recording, just like I knew it would! The issue is getting everything ELSE to sound right, especially drums. X3
The song is playing in the background for reference, so turn up your volume if you'd like to hear it too!
And here's the song for reference as well:
