I got this when I visited my grandfather's 80-something-year-old cousin, Klaus, in Florida. I talked to him and went on a tangent about how I am a smith and showed him what I made. He then went on a tangent about how he was a lathe operator back in Germany and when he moved to America he got a job as a CNC operator. He told me his macular degeneration was making it hard for him to read this thing anymore since it was given to him by his best friend a while back after he retired. He insisted I take it home with me.

Do you know about http://www.mini-lathe.com/ yet?
I've got a similar model and the site has a lot of good part numbers and links for upgrades/accessories. I eventually want to convert mine to brushless and CNC.
